Darondo is a bit of an underground legend. He released 3 singles in the 70s and supported the likes of James Brown, but then he stopped recording and disappeared. Ubiquity Records re-released the 6 tracks from the singles on an album a few years ago along with 3 previously unreleased tracks from a lost demo reel, that — as the story goes — they found amongst VHS tapes Darondo had sent them to source images for the CD booklet.
