You need to study the bills carefully and see why John McCain voted the way he did on each bill, and the exact reasons. In no way did John McCain flip flop on torture. Just thought I would add, being a "Flip-Flopper" specifically refers to a politician's voting record or political/religious beliefs. To prove my point, I would have to dig up decades of senate floor meetings, debates, voting records, etc., and go through them with a fine-pick comb and compare and attach them along the way to show my point. That is a near impossible task. However, showing two bills where McCain voted differently is far easier, and no one has been able to do that.

Just thought I would add, being a "Flip-Flopper" specifically refers to a politician's voting record or political/religious beliefs. To prove my point, I would have to dig up decades of senate floor meetings, debates, voting records, etc., and go through them with a fine-pick comb and compare and attach them along the way to show my point. That is a near impossible task. However, showing two bills where McCain voted differently is far easier, and no one has been able to do that.
