Mia-I was at The Royal Rumble & hafta agree w/ya about the video clips being to long I didn't see The Rock's instead-I went out to get water 2 take w/my meds (for my seizures) & as I'm getting ready to head back to my seat-I ran into The Sign Guy! As for how I felt about The Rumble -I thought it was GREAT-They certainly had some let downs in it but having watched wrestling for 21 yrs-I figure it comes w/the territory? I'll tell ya who I was hoping would be their since Road Dogg was-Billy Gunn!

Taking up all of that time with the vid packages wasnt fair to the paying customers though imo... Just the same as the climax of Kane and Cena's fight taking place backstage.... the whole point of it being live is so that the audience can SEE the action, ya know?
Yes! Finally. Someone that thinks just the way I do. All my friends have been bitchin' me out for saying that this rumble was a total letdown. I had high expectations...Y2J should've won or at least a surprise entrant.At one point I thought Miz would win... that would've also been pretty awesome... winning from the #1 spot that is. Can't remember the last time you had a proper rant at WWE, and I agree with some of it. The booking was dreadful but it was one of the most 'fun' Rumbles of the last few years. Some good old-school returns, I got a giggle out of Cole going in there, even though it was a waste of a spot. Socko v Cobra and Ricardo were hilarious. Kofi's thing was cool, even though I thought of that spot not long after JoMo's barrier jump last year.

I thought the commentators getting involved was hilarious! It may have taken the places of people like Christian, but I think they probably didn't let Christian come out in the rumble because it was really predictable, it was a good rumble i think :P
But I definately agree with you on the cena/rock video packages, I hate it when TNA put up these lonnggg video packages, and one thing that WWE always did really well was keep most of their videos short(ish), these videos were boring :/

@stonecoldpes6 I find him funny at times... You don't have to be good at wrestling to be a commentator for it. Jim Ross is not a wrestler yet he's considered as one of the best wrestling commentators in history.

@TheSoulfulMusician I dont think Kharma belongs in the diva division, she's too good for that. Id rather see her take Chyna's route and compete in singles competition with the guys. Theyve had an entire year to build credible diva opponents for Kharma, and theyve done nothing but waste it by attempting to elevate Kelly and company.
(part 2) I think I'm the only person on earth that enjoyed the rumble. Could it have been better? Yea. Are people being TOO hard on it? Yea. Considering the poop WWE has been shoveling out in recent years, it could have been a lot worse haha.

(part 1) I personally liked the announcers getting in. And this is coming from a guy that wanted cole FIRED just a few months ago lol. I like the team of cole/king/booker because Booker and King can put Cole in his place and it's funny. When it's just King and Cole, not so much haha. So I thought it was amusing. I see what you're saying about other guys that coulda have had a spot but it's not like it's wrestlemania. They just woulda have gotten eliminated anyway.
Also the only good thing that came out of Cole's entrance was the setup for Kharma's return. I won't knock them on not involving Christian because we don't know what the real story was but Kane could have been involved and of course Cena could've went crazy on him. Overall the PPV was passing but just barely
@BigboyHollywood exactly, Im most angry about Kane's rumble streak ending. There was really no reason for it at all, especially when you had Big Show in there. Kane is a monster so he could give two craps about main eventing mania, just have him go in there and wreck house for the sake of being a monster
I'm with you on the Kane/Cena storyline....this is actually a hard one to pull off with it being a filler feud for Cena until Wrestlemania. I mean you have to have Kane look strong but Cena has to as well going into his feud with Rock. They could've gone without the Divas match...I liked the Rumble but I've seen better Rumbles but unlike the IWC I don't think it was the worse...there have been Rumbles that have been far worse. It was entertaining but the fails is on booking..simply put

I could think of three WRESTLERS who could have taken that sport. not a gloried butt kisser like Michael. It was nice seeing Road Dogg and Karma though, her bit was hilarious.
This is the first pay per view I've watched and I was sort of disappointed. The sock and snake connection was pretty funny but I was disappointed with the ending. Sheamus really didn't need to win the Rumble. There weren't many impressive returns and I wasn't too excited. I loved seeing Kharma though.
@BonitaMiaVlogs It was the Silver Anniversary. If you were going to have Legends or Announcers in there taking up space anyway, why not try to book some of the past Rumble winners instead of them? I mean, Hacksaw was ok since he won the first one but WWE could have gotten more. Why not Bret Hart or Lex Luger? How about throwing Austin in there for a few Stunners? Hell, get Flair and Hogan to show up as the biggest shockers ever! As far as Kane goes, looks like HHH wants HBK to keep his record.
@BonitaMiaVlogs And after watching RAW last night, I see now the only purpose of this story is because they want the fans to think John would have acquired some sort of "training" or "right of passage" from Kane, going in to fighting The Rock. Cont...but that half assed screw job attempt really made the whole thing pointless so to call it the match of the night isn't saying much. The Rumble match itself had its moments, liked the segment with Santino and Foley, kinda marked out when Kharma returned, glad they made Miz and Cody looked strong although I wish they kept Truth in there a little longer...
This Rumble had it's moments but overall it was anti climatic. The Cage match ended too soon. The Cena/Rock promo packages were obvious fillers. Divas match...ugh but at least Beth got the win and not another cheap Kelly Kelly roll up pin. Cena and Kane fought like they were stalling for time but the end segment was kinda funny. Punk-Ziggler match was ok but could've been much better....

- last weeks raw removed any hope/thought that ziggler would walk w/the belt so his match w/punk was academic. dolph wasn't helped by the fact that he got his ass beat for the majority of the match either.
- jericho was disappointing tonight as he acted like just another wrestler but his final 2 w/sheamus was really good.
- miz, ziggler or wade barrett should've been in the final four instead of big show.
- happy for sheamus and he will face...d-bryan at 'mania.
i am just waiting to see if having sheamus as a rumble winner willl be famous of a flap, and what direction they will take with chris jericho.. cause we know where cena is heading.. but i am hoping there are big things for ryder in the future cause he is being feature alot lately even if it is in a damsel in distress way and he did win his first independent mid-card title last year. I hope they are not thinking of turning him into another John Cena. we need to think future people

- good finish to d-brayn's match. he's spent his entire run escaping show & henry with the title so having him actually win a match agains the 2 of them w/the title made perfect sense.
- nattie neidhardt made it to ppv and didn't lose. plus beth looked strong to get her ready for kharma.
- cena & kane had a better match than i expected but the only person i care about in this feud is ryder and what happens to him after he through w/this mess.
@VR24 I dont see how Beth glam slamming and pinning Kelly makes her look strong for Kharma.They had a whole year to build up credible opponents for Kharma's return and instead they allowed the Barbies to get the best of their strongest divas... I wouldnt mind Ryder turning heel through all of this it would be a halfway decent pay off

They had really good momentum when they started D.O.D. but dropped the ball with it, and even thought we know that only Beth and Natalya can go toe-to-toe w/ Kharma, they've been getting jobbed out by the Barbie dolls. @BonitaMiaVlogs as for ryder i'd much rather them keep him face b/c wwe is desperate for interesting faces and if nothing else ryder is at least interesting. they do need to make him a more serious character though. he can still do comedy (the rock was funny) but he needs to stop kissing cena's ass and stop begging eve for dates and eventually get revenge on kane & swagger. i'd love to see ryder cut an angry promo just once.
So I was live at the rumble. You should be lucky you didn't see our bonus match between Heath Slater and Yoshi Tatsu. The match was horrible and they botched everything. I think minus all the promos the ppv was decent. We had some funny signs like "Beth Pheomix" my long lost brother". I did want Kane, Taker in the ring. I marked out big and lost my voice when TheRoad Dogg Jessie James came out. It was electric in that arena when his music hit. I could picture you smiling when his music hit.

This year Royal Rumble was fucking horrible, shitty mid carders no surprise at all and it was clearly obvious that hacksaw was going to be there only a few highlights for me which was Ricardo who came out in that shitty car and when all 3 announcers were entered in the rumble, im 90% sure that the Big Show match was a botch and they didn't make Dolph Ziggler a compatible challenger for the title he got beat senseless and that Kane match was terrible...nonetheless great video

@TheSoulfulMusician I dont think Kharma belongs in the diva division, she's too good for that. Id rather see her take Chyna's route and compete in singles competition with the guys. Theyve had an entire year to build credible diva opponents for Kharma, and theyve done nothing but waste it by attempting to elevate Kelly and company.

(part 2) I think I'm the only person on earth that enjoyed the rumble. Could it have been better? Yea. Are people being TOO hard on it? Yea. Considering the poop WWE has been shoveling out in recent years, it could have been a lot worse haha.

(part 1) I personally liked the announcers getting in. And this is coming from a guy that wanted cole FIRED just a few months ago lol. I like the team of cole/king/booker because Booker and King can put Cole in his place and it's funny. When it's just King and Cole, not so much haha. So I thought it was amusing. I see what you're saying about other guys that coulda have had a spot but it's not like it's wrestlemania. They just woulda have gotten eliminated anyway.

Also the only good thing that came out of Cole's entrance was the setup for Kharma's return. I won't knock them on not involving Christian because we don't know what the real story was but Kane could have been involved and of course Cena could've went crazy on him. Overall the PPV was passing but just barely

I'm with you on the Kane/Cena storyline....this is actually a hard one to pull off with it being a filler feud for Cena until Wrestlemania. I mean you have to have Kane look strong but Cena has to as well going into his feud with Rock. They could've gone without the Divas match...I liked the Rumble but I've seen better Rumbles but unlike the IWC I don't think it was the worse...there have been Rumbles that have been far worse. It was entertaining but the fails is on booking..simply put

Thank you! I am glad someone else thinks the booking was of the rumble was bad. It was so disjointed and didn't make sense. Especially including COLE in the rumble. I could think of three WRESTLERS who could have taken that sport. not a gloried butt kisser like Michael. It was nice seeing Road Dogg and Karma though, her bit was hilarious.

This is the first pay per view I've watched and I was sort of disappointed. The sock and snake connection was pretty funny but I was disappointed with the ending. Sheamus really didn't need to win the Rumble. There weren't many impressive returns and I wasn't too excited. I loved seeing Kharma though.

@BonitaMiaVlogs It was the Silver Anniversary. If you were going to have Legends or Announcers in there taking up space anyway, why not try to book some of the past Rumble winners instead of them? I mean, Hacksaw was ok since he won the first one but WWE could have gotten more. Why not Bret Hart or Lex Luger? How about throwing Austin in there for a few Stunners? Hell, get Flair and Hogan to show up as the biggest shockers ever! As far as Kane goes, looks like HHH wants HBK to keep his record.

And even though I expected Jericho to take, it was a better choice to have Sheamus to go overbut like I said overall had its moments but just anti climatic in it's delivery good video though as always

The Rumble match itself had its moments, liked the segment with Santino and Foley, kinda marked out when Kharma returned, glad they made Miz and Cody looked strong although I wish they kept Truth in there a little longer...

This Rumble had it's moments but overall it was anti climatic. The Cage match ended too soon. The Cena/Rock promo packages were obvious fillers. Divas match...ugh but at least Beth got the win and not another cheap Kelly Kelly roll up pin. Cena and Kane fought like they were stalling for time but the end segment was kinda funny. Punk-Ziggler match was ok but could've been much better....

Great: Nostalgia Pops in Rumble, Punk/Ziggler, Ricardo in Rumble, Kofi spot in Rumble
Good: Cena/Kane (match-wise)
Bad: Booking for Rumble (order of entry/Y2J utilization/Sheamus winning), King (OK)/Booker (Cool)/Cole (WTF) in Rumble

- last weeks raw removed any hope/thought that ziggler would walk w/the belt so his match w/punk was academic. dolph wasn't helped by the fact that he got his ass beat for the majority of the match either.
- jericho was disappointing tonight as he acted like just another wrestler but his final 2 w/sheamus was really good.
- miz, ziggler or wade barrett should've been in the final four instead of big show.
- happy for sheamus and he will face...d-bryan at 'mania.

i am just waiting to see if having sheamus as a rumble winner willl be famous of a flap, and what direction they will take with chris jericho.. cause we know where cena is heading.. but i am hoping there are big things for ryder in the future cause he is being feature alot lately even if it is in a damsel in distress way and he did win his first independent mid-card title last year. I hope they are not thinking of turning him into another John Cena. we need to think future people

- good finish to d-brayn's match. he's spent his entire run escaping show & henry with the title so having him actually win a match agains the 2 of them w/the title made perfect sense.
- nattie neidhardt made it to ppv and didn't lose. plus beth looked strong to get her ready for kharma.
- cena & kane had a better match than i expected but the only person i care about in this feud is ryder and what happens to him after he through w/this mess.

@VR24 I dont see how Beth glam slamming and pinning Kelly makes her look strong for Kharma.They had a whole year to build up credible opponents for Kharma's return and instead they allowed the Barbies to get the best of their strongest divas... I wouldnt mind Ryder turning heel through all of this it would be a halfway decent pay off

They had really good momentum when they started D.O.D. but dropped the ball with it, and even thought we know that only Beth and Natalya can go toe-to-toe w/ Kharma, they've been getting jobbed out by the Barbie dolls. This just goes to show how terrible WWE booking is b/c they don't seem to think ahead of time.

@BonitaMiaVlogs as for ryder i'd much rather them keep him face b/c wwe is desperate for interesting faces and if nothing else ryder is at least interesting. they do need to make him a more serious character though. he can still do comedy (the rock was funny) but he needs to stop kissing cena's ass and stop begging eve for dates and eventually get revenge on kane & swagger. i'd love to see ryder cut an angry promo just once.

So I was live at the rumble. You should be lucky you didn't see our bonus match between Heath Slater and Yoshi Tatsu. The match was horrible and they botched everything. I think minus all the promos the ppv was decent. We had some funny signs like "Beth Pheomix" my long lost brother". I did want Kane, Taker in the ring. I marked out big and lost my voice when TheRoad Dogg Jessie James came out. It was electric in that arena when his music hit. I could picture you smiling when his music hit.

This year Royal Rumble was fucking horrible, shitty mid carders no surprise at all and it was clearly obvious that hacksaw was going to be there only a few highlights for me which was Ricardo who came out in that shitty car and when all 3 announcers were entered in the rumble, im 90% sure that the Big Show match was a botch and they didn't make Dolph Ziggler a compatible challenger for the title he got beat senseless and that Kane match was terrible...nonetheless great video
