  • Waiting on the World to Change

    in ASL.

  • I just start to learn ASL recently, am hard of hearing. I can sign some simple words now. I joined a great deaf daing site, ----Deafornot dot c om----, and met some good deaf/HOH friends over there. They help me to learn ASL.

  • that was beautiful..

  • Thats my sister who poses in the front at the end she did a wonderful job and is very passionate about sign language...GO Taneal!!!!

  • That was AMAZING! Great job!

  • This is a great way to show that Deaf are equal to hearing! Great video! Reminds me of D-PAN!

  • I want to thank you HHS. This is a good thing that you have done. It is an amazing thing. My father is deaf. And this is just the start of using ASL across the USA.

    May God bless you

  • HOW SWEET ALL GIRLS!!!

  • ? do u mean they r doing it wrong? jw

  • this is awesome

    good job you guys!! =]

  • Thank you for this video. It brought me to tears less than a min into it; the song choice, seeing that many people enthusiastic about ASL & connecting with the deaf community...just overwhelming. My best friend's deaf, & we used to work together, when I started I was amazed to find he'd been there for 6 years & not 1 person even tried to learn any sign, they'd just say, he can read lips or write if he wants to say something. I wish my HS had offered ASL, I feel very behind but I'm getting there.

  • soo good! incredible. keep it up!

  • P.S.

It is also great that they have a class in HS that teaches everyone ASL... It helps people connect with a community they may have never been able to connect with, Im not sure about you but Id rather be able to communicate with the people that i know that are hearing, sad some people have to stay so closed minded :(

  • FYI- This production, as is the case with all of our productions was created not only for, but with help from the Deaf community. Each year the HHS ASL Performance is the cornerstone of the Deaf social calendar in our area and brings together both the hearing and Deaf cultures for one special night.

Also, all of the ASL interpretations are indeed grammatically correct seeing as how they were borrowed from D-PAN's version.

If you have any other complaints about the grammar, take it up with them.

  • I think this was great, having lost my hearing and loving music brings both of MY worlds together! gallygrad I think that is YOUR personal opinion of it, I know MANY deaf who like to watch songs and some cannot hear the music but people can put it into a language they understand! Because someone is hearing does not mean they can not sign to songs and Watching this, it was correct, this isnt about the deaf community and this isnt about your personal view. This was great! I appreciate what you do

  • Some deaf people also highly appreciate the art form and chance to experience music.

  • keep going!!!!

  • THE SIGN IS UPSIDE DOWN!!!!

  • This is pretty cool.

  • lol i c u Stefani

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, love it!!! God Hanford High sign is amazing. Gotta love it :]]
