    the thing is the way he did it the meat was divided all nicely in the middle, but if he rolled all at once the inside meat and bacon would be mixed close to each other and increase the chance of spilling and loosing flavor.

  • You cant get smoke from the wood chips if theyre floating in water. You soak them, and then make a foil pouch and then put them right on the flame. You CAN use a water pan for steam, it can help keep the meat moist, but I've never noticed much difference either way

    Oh and a side note tip, if you wanna roll up that big boy properly, make sure to patty the meat separately, season it, and add in that center goodness, roll it up, and then roll it up in that bacon carbon fiber armor.

    Also, I've never made a Bacon Explosion myself and I bet if I had all the stuff, I'd do it in a jiffy :D.
