My PC crashed and allong with SC4 i stopped this one. This one is easy to pick up again, i will try to do another mission next week, but i also promised to upload some more OTTD, you guys are giving me a full time job :D.
@madmenyo The annotations like you did in Ep1 were pretty nice, helped us understand your thoughts and strategies a bit better. I got the gold medal on most of the 19th century scenarios, but certainly not optimally... I dropped sand and water towers in every station first thing and rarely used anything smaller than the largest station.
@NewEonOrchestra I'm thinking of picking this one up again soon and so add some annotations into this one as well. But i got to make time, i have to blame someone for not having 8 days in a week :D.
@NewEonOrchestra Yeah i know, apart from disliking to focus on talking during playing and hearing back my own voice :D. I can't always talk loudly while gaming. I might get a good mic and add voice later when i can speak loudly, that would be a big step for me. But i'm sure it will increase popularity.
@madmenyo Heheh, those are pretty much the same reasons I don't do any LPs. I can think of a few games that nobody has touched that I know of (Sim Isle for one), but I don't think I'm much of a live narrator. I'd probably just say stupid stuff. (But then again, I know of several popular LPers who already do that, heheh.)

I've just got back to playing this game and making light work of the first 8-10 levels. I used to play it as a small boy and had NO idea what made what, and what was profitable. I always ended up with squat or a big ass debt. No I'm pro xD.

That would just be for LAN right, not online? I really wanted to be able to play it with a friend who lives far away but I'm not sure if this is still possible because they may not support it any longer.
@madmenyo I have a computer not connected to the internet (there's two in my house) and I have many games on it. I would like to connect it and play other with RRT2 or a Trainz simulator. Do people still play online? It may be a while before it's connected, though.
I'm not sure why you didn't build a station or stations in the middle of New Jersey to take the logs and iron that appeared to be there to Philadelphia to become goods and lumber, which NYC would surely want (esp. since all the ports do in this scenario is suck up goods).
Goods and logs are not worth that much, an extra train with logs 'n goods would not bring in a lot of money and it slows down my passenger routes. I could have taken the logs and all but the goal is to get a gold medal at which i succeeded, and my motto is never do more then your supposed to be doing because your boss (in this case the investors) is going to expect you to do more then asked in the future :D.

The first scenario's are more to get used to the game. And once you know passengers earn good money thinks get more easy.
Later on you will probably see vids where i reach gold in the last couple of months or just didn't make it :D

I never thought about playing this game MP but it has the option to make a tcp/ip connection with someone else.

No TCP/IP is over the world. Try to find out what your IP is. Start -> run -> type "CMD" -> type "ipconfig" in the black window box.
one of you has to make a dedicated server and you can join by entering his IP address.
