he's just saying that to scare all of us! i'm a skin expert and that WILL NOT happen AT ALL! everyone who is watching this please just rate thumbs up for my comment!
Something I don't get. Whether you cut this same "angled" hair with a stretch or not, it will still grow at an angle? no? So it will cause in ingrown regardless. Or maybe I am completely confused, which is a very valid possibility :)
So Mantic, do you find you can stretch your skin enough with just facial contortions, or do you have to pull the skin flat by hand? I know your face will be different than mine, but still. Ballpark, you know?
Great video series, btw. You have enriched the internet greatly.
Great video, I use this video all the time when speaking to people about this subject. They have all said something like "this guy makes it easy to understand that concept".
bioman27- it depends on how many and how bad you get them. If its just a couple you might be able to get them out with a gentle tweezing. There are also some products like Tend Skin and Bump Fighter if they get really bad. But the best thing is to avoid getting them by using good technique!
davorb-- Unfortunately there's a bit of trial and error to it, finding just the right amount. Just keep in mind that if you're going to do it your goal is to stretch just enough to flatten the skin.

face scrub helps against ingrowns, u just have to allow the hair to grow out again and become thick enough to pierce the skin

how do you think straight razor shavers shave if they didnt stretch the skin? they'd all have ingrown hairs.
yeahbuddeh 3 years ago
yeahbuddeh- straight razors behave differently; this video addresses DE's and cartridge razors.

This is your skin
This is your skin on stretching
Any questions?
