why do so many "alchemists" seem to be using their knowledge for negative outcomes instead of positive ones? why are there so many Sith and so little Jedi? this is why "magic" is demonized by so many people because of the abuses of the few. this knowledge is only a tool in our hands...unfortunately it seems to have found its way into the hands of those who wish to use it to enslave us instead of set humanity free. why why why?

@LuxorMedia : It may be because those of us who seek knowledge of forces for creative purposes rather than destrictive are less theatrical and boisterous and more subtle and sophisticated. Of course a profound knowledge is that those who are destructive are in themselves a force that can be used by those working toward creative outcomes as destruction is just a foundational step in creation.

I like your videos, I'm not sure where the Wicca quotations are coming from. A bit of research on Wicca should reveal that it was essentially based on Golden Dawn technique, which in turn was based on Rosicrucianism, and that based on alchemy. Otherwise, great videos.

Excellent video, but why all these analogies with Wicca? It's clear that Wicca has adapted all these analogies from the hermetic tradition. Not that it matters that much really since all is one and nothing equally.

I dont buy it that alchemists for years describe a chemical process, and we in our arrogance assume that because we cannot replicate it yet it must be false.

In 1898 we discovered a modern airplane model buried in an egyptian tomb.  It was labeled a "bird model" because we had not yet flown. Let's not make the same arrogant mistakes. Take ten minutes and research ancient Egyptian technology. Imagine we would be 50 years ahead in flight if we had looked harder and longer at that plane.

Just because there is knowledge and techniques learned in lab alchemy, having to do with the world of matter, that go beyond what is presently taught in modern science, does not mean it is not science (in the traditional sense), thus it is neither entirely spiritual. There are methods one can perform in the lab that go beyond our present understanding of matter, and open a door to not only making powerful transformational substances, but also to a deep knowledge of Nature and God

I would say its very different then wicca in that wiccans always stay with god & goddess & are always about religious ideology's& are bond by those ideas.Alchemy transcends religion & god & goddess,but seek to have transformations/spiritual experiences that will never change.Love your site/great video.

You have a good point, in that religion is transcended in Alchemy. The god/goddess tradition however, is largely just another form of recognition of the Solar & Lunar, masculine & feminine principles. Alchemy strips the mythical aspect from this tradition indeed. Thanks for the comment ;)
