LSD doesn't cause brain damage. It can mentally damage some ppl though. It removes the filters of perception in your mind, so you see yourself without any notions of who you think you are. The mind places filters of perception as you go through life, starting when you were born. You learn to filter out unncecessary info, how to feel "good" about yourself. That's all removed on a high dose trip. Some ppl can't handle seeing themselves or life unfiltered and it messes up their minds.
It's very rare for one trip, even a hardcore trip, to permanently mess someone up. If you've got hidden mental issues, or you've developed some coping skills that you're unaware of, for dealing with something really messed up in your mind, it CAN expose it to you and you MAY lose that coping ability.
For ME, the weirdest part of acid wasn't the visuals or sensations. It was seeing myself as a complete stranger, or feeling two (or more) conflicting emotions at the same time.
I haven't dropped acid since 1983. I'm normal, yeah. I have bipolar disorder (which I finally got treatment for in about 2000). I always was slightly bipolar, I just wasn't aware of it until I did LSD. I believe it would've hit me sooner or later, acid or not. The acid just ramped it up.
The people I work with wouldn't believe me if I told them I'd dropped acid 35 times. I'm THAT normal. I still think about those trips from time to time, but don't dwell on it anymore.
It's just something to consider if you're going to do it. Be in a safe place with only a few of the people you really love and trust. It's not for everyone. The shit really floored me. I was NOT expecting it to be like it was. Yes, there were the amazing colors, distortions, crazy laughter, senses crossing over. "The Family" (who made all the pure LSD then) decided to release 250 mcg hits of it in my town. I was one of the fortunate ones who got to taste it.
I took two hits. I thought I'd done really strong acid before, but this was WAYYY beyond it. I thought I'd died. I left my body. I can TRY to tell you about it, but it'd be like telling a blind person what the color red looks like. Sounds fun, but it wasn't. It was the most intense, frightening, life-changing experience I ever had. I tripped hardcore for 12 actual hours that time; 100,000 years for me.
if your going to try lsd you def have to go into it with a good attitude, i've done it a few times and you have to surround yourself with people that you can trust just in case. It def. puts your mind in a different place and makes you think more than you ever thought you would

My face felt numb and i got a horrible headache. I started loosing balance and thinking about my backyards grass growing realy fast and eating me. LSD doesn't cause brain damage. It can mentally damage some ppl though. It removes the filters of perception in your mind, so you see yourself without any notions of who you think you are. The mind places filters of perception as you go through life, starting when you were born. You learn to filter out unncecessary info, how to feel "good" about yourself. That's all removed on a high dose trip. Some ppl can't handle seeing themselves or life unfiltered and it messes up their minds.

It's very rare for one trip, even a hardcore trip, to permanently mess someone up. If you've got hidden mental issues, or you've developed some coping skills that you're unaware of, for dealing with something really messed up in your mind, it CAN expose it to you and you MAY lose that coping ability.
For ME, the weirdest part of acid wasn't the visuals or sensations. It was seeing myself as a complete stranger, or feeling two (or more) conflicting emotions at the same time.

I haven't dropped acid since 1983. I'm normal, yeah. I have bipolar disorder (which I finally got treatment for in about 2000). I always was slightly bipolar, I just wasn't aware of it until I did LSD. I believe it would've hit me sooner or later, acid or not. The acid just ramped it up.
The people I work with wouldn't believe me if I told them I'd dropped acid 35 times. I'm THAT normal. I still think about those trips from time to time, but don't dwell on it anymore.

It's just something to consider if you're going to do it. Be in a safe place with only a few of the people you really love and trust. It's not for everyone. The shit really floored me. I was NOT expecting it to be like it was. Yes, there were the amazing colors, distortions, crazy laughter, senses crossing over. "The Family" (who made all the pure LSD then) decided to release 250 mcg hits of it in my town. I was one of the fortunate ones who got to taste it.

I took two hits. I thought I'd done really strong acid before, but this was WAYYY beyond it. I thought I'd died. I left my body. I can TRY to tell you about it, but it'd be like telling a blind person what the color red looks like. Sounds fun, but it wasn't. It was the most intense, frightening, life-changing experience I ever had. I tripped hardcore for 12 actual hours that time; 100,000 years for me.

if your going to try lsd you def have to go into it with a good attitude, i've done it a few times and you have to surround yourself with people that you can trust just in case. It def. puts your mind in a different place and makes you think more than you ever thought you would

tripping made me look at music differently.. bascially everything i ever liked i am re evaluating. and reality looks so beautiful but messed up with humanitys structure.. made me appreciate living more.. search for new things.. different understanding of food and the way its absorbed into your body.. vegetables destroy us faster than meats and other foods.. so many things change but its all what you let yourself think of or search for on google.

hey grant, did you smoke any bud when you drank the robo? in my experience waiting 30 to 45 minutes after drinkin any lean and smoking a few bowl can turn your trip into something completely different, the euphoria is increased and, the marijuana helps your thought process. and it really helps with the stomach aches as well.

To be honest people only go crazy if they were unprepared for the trip. Everytime i do something new and heavy first timer (Like lsd or ketamine or peyote) i mentally prepare and thats why i never EVER had a trip i didnt enjoy :) I enjoy the beauty of the trip your in and let it become one with me.
