Yep they are the most closest to a 600 compared to the other liter bikes. Excellent bike and the quality is out of this world. Traded in my 06 R1 for the 2010 Repsol...what a spectacular bike Honda makes!!! The R1 was an excellent bike but I couldn't throw it around near as much as I can the Repsol also it isn't as comfortable as the R1. The RR's are definitely set up more for the track than the road.

Do these really handle relatively like a 600? I've heard that alot and didn't believe it, I've ridden an '04 R1, 05 Gixxer 1K, and 07 1000RR and none of those felt anything like a 600, well the R1 felt the smallest and lightest. But after hearing these weigh under 440lbs, it's believable since the 2004 model 600's weighed about the same. I'd love to ride one of these, but no one around here has one.

its an amazing machine so much power weight is reduced from previous years i always loved honda streetbikes, but i cant say anything about the 09 r1 since ive never ridden one the only difference in the 08 and 09 is 09 have more color options and also some come with abs
