So by lesson you mean that we should sit beside a metronome and try to perform sweeps at different speeds? Like how exactly did u learn how to sweep that fast?
@dasheefo its pretty much progression... i got a 3 string sweep in 2 days and got fast at it in less than a week then i went from 3 to 4 string sweeps... felt the same as a 3 string so i went to 5 then that was moderate.. 6 string sweeps in less than a month im still working on. BUT practicing nothing but sweeps for 30min. - 3 hours will increase greatly
I'm having a little trouble finding how to constuct sweep picking patterns, as the way I learned my modes was basically by wrote. How exactly do you find these sort of arpeggios, i.e is it the root and then every second note after that or something simular. I mostly play in Harmonic Minor, and was wondering also how you would account for the sharpened 7th, (in any key)
@LichKingSkullWart Chord theory (what notes make up a chord), Intervals, Intervalic relations between chords (substitutions) and of course knowing all the notes and their positions relative to the fingerboard are good suggestions to start with.

Hey man,
