Well ford are using the fiesta as a advertising tool in the state as they want to introduce smaller cars into the market, thats why they entered Pikes Peak, X-Games etc to show people what it can do lol

plus i prefer this to the new WRX

yeah but the wrx sti is avalible to us in awd.. the focus and fiesta is only avalible in fwd.. the awd fords are custom made for rally america and the wrc..

it's always been like that. ford can't have a hatchback challenging a mustang because they know the fiesta would win and hurt the stangs sales. it really sucks though it would be so awesome if it came here.

yeah.. thats the same reason why they dont bring the focus rs and the ford gt here.. american ford motor company wants it so that the mustang gt is the fastest car they have so you buy it for the high price tag.. cause if they brought the rs over here,, people would think.. well why buy a mustang when you can get a focus that has more power stock and is cheaper? :/

There will never be an AWD 2.0l turbocharged Fiesta on sale. It basically a beefed up Division 1 rallycross car: turbo and AWD system piled into whatever body shell is found lying around. In Poland one driver used a bored out Escort Cosworth engine and various AWD parts (including Porsche 928 and Ford RS200 parts) in a 2nd gen Focus body shell. There's more little city cars in Div1, like Peugeot 207, Renault Clio or new Skoda Fabia, all with AWD, sequential transmissions and around 600hp.

Im not a huge Travis Pastrana fan. I would take Ken Block, and Tanner Foust over TP any day.

Holy boost Batman! 50psi sounds amazing! There's rumors that the US Fiesta will get an EcoBoost 1.6L variant making 180hp and a dual clucth tranny, which is still a lot of power for a car this light. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

I doubt it... (about an AWD turbo Fiesta in the US I mean)...  Sources say it will be powered by a 1.6L Ti-VCT Duratec 4 banger making 120hp and will be Front wheel drive only... Still a nice looking car though (at least in regards to the 3 door and 5 door hatchbacks). I wonder how much hp it will have to qualify for the X games...
