  • this plays at my work and i have asked everybody who sings this!!!! finally found it i loooove it. buyin the album def

  • that intro is so good.... i dunno what it is that gets me about it but its so good.

  • ahh! theres where i put my happy place :)

  • i love this song... was in coffee bean when i first heard this.

  • love shutting things out with this track. i think its more of a morning song than morning song. both beautiful tracks though.

  • This sounds iike "Golden Brown" by the Stranglers

  • @Staggerbaroque That's pretty funny you say that I was thinking the same thing as the track started then I scrolled down and saw your comment. Good song though. Love Zero 7.

  • @Nomis2779 Yeah, love "Destiny" and "Morning Song." I'm on the fence about the latest stuff. Wish they could recapture that earlier magic with Sophie and Sia.

  • Yes...

  • EVERYTIME I HEAR THIS SONG! It reminds me of my bestfriend because he played this literally 100 times a day. DAMN YOU MIKE! xD

  • i tried to call but you didn't pick up, i tried to stall but you wouldn't speak up, so now i know that your silence is your vote, and out the door is our love and broken are the dreams, choking on the streams of tears as they run down the cheeks, so sweet is this release, to let you leave me and be at peace with the end of us, the sin is just the beginning. that's what came out of me when i heard this. love this song.

  • Can't stop listening.

    Anyone know anything similar?

  • @anfooclock Go listen to the other Zero 7 albums. "Somersault" "In Time" "Destiny" "In the Waiting Line". Sia has solo albums which has somewhat similar stuff to this.

  • @Nomis2779

this is not sia who's singing

  • @20yearsofhell I'm aware of that. I just recommending some other Zero 7 songs to someone. They asked what are some songs that sound somewhat similar to this.

  • this song reminds me of amelie poulain

  • @045632 yes! Also of Pushing Daisies

  • thing song makes me cry every time

  • really nice song! you`r saving my boring working time!

  • I can totally picture this being in a commercial

  • Simplemente mi canción favorita.

  • It sounds like they're sampling Golden Brown

  • my favourite song <3

  • beautiful...

  • This is a great song to stare out your window to, and ponder the elegant, but cold, world we call home. Beautiful. Just beautiful....

  • @MrHarryAndKyle The most poignant comment on YouTube I respect and liked, sorry thought i'd just let you know :)

  • I don't think it's really zero7-ish if you compare it to their former work, but I do really like it (:

  • This is their only good song...

  • @MichaelChands In The Waiting Line is a good song too... I rarely ever like more than 2 songs from a single band but Zero 7 makes 3 songs that I like... I think they're better than most bands out there that are pretty monotone

  • @bodyboarder3452 I advise you to listen to Zero 7 more often. It may not be the case for you, but after listening to Zero 7 for long time I can say just one: on two first albums (Simple Things and When It Falls) they have no single weak song! All songs from that albums are just stunning.

  • sia sia sia sia sia sia sia sia sia sia sia sia!!!! anything sia has to do with becomes MAGIC!! I LOVE HER!! when she's by herself and in zero 7! <3333

  • @utahlover1995 it's not sia, its binki shapiro

  • @quakeroats0316

    it's sia. for real.

  • @quakeroats0316

oh no, you're right..!? first think, than reply. i am sorry :-(

  • 3 people don't like swinging.

  • This is not Zero 7. This is just bullshit.

  • @WorldUltraviolet You are mental

  • @JerDog1984 Why?

  • Absolutely incredible.

  • This song plays at Stater Bros, and I work there! So I hear it allll the time :) Always puts me in a great mood. Thanks Zero 7. OHHHHH BY THE WAY, love the whole album. Voice rocks. :)

  • Sounds like an Apple commercial. Nice song though, I like it.

  • @sAcRoSaNct17 wow...WOW...it does...you just ruined it completly for me hahaha

  • @sAcRoSaNct17 FUCK! :(

  • stunning, chilling and truly beautiful. please sirs...may I have some more?

  • i can't stop listening to this song period.. it is so calming and it just makes you think about life; the melody itself is beautiful. im gonna do a contemporary dance piece to this

  • I cannot stop listening to this. I must get the album soon!

  • im in love. in myself & everyone. its absolutely fantastic!

  • great tune. very enlightening!

  • wooow. wonderful!!

  • without any doubt at all .. my favorite song for this year

  • This is my favourite song ever1

  • Whyyyy does this feel like good company?

  • fantasimazing!

  • @gaz470 I hear you but there are some brilliant tracks on the album for eg Swing, Pop Art Blue, The Road and Everything Up - It's hard to be amazing 4 times in a row I guess. Previous 3 albums are completely amazing and I could quite easily listen through them all in one sitting! As for vocalists, i'm not sure they could have done better - Sia and Tina were brilliant but that time is over - I'm happy to move forward as Zero 7 are trying to do now. Binki Shapiro's voice gives me goosebumps (Swing

  • @JerDog1984 I agree with you about Zero 7 moving forward. Everything changes. Still, I believe Sia Furler would have and could, burn this song down!

  • Yea this album is original and musically better than 99% of most other stuff around in 2010, but I was really dissapointed with it compared to the first 3 albums. Like really disapointed. I dont like the new choice of lead vocalist. Also most of the songs on Yeah Ghost are too "full on" or "not enough happening" in my opinion. Biggest dissapointment of 2010 for me. Bring back Sia and Tina Dico!

  • i do love Zero 7... but i'm still getting used to them as a pop-folk band.

i kinda miss the trip-hop beats.

  • Vocalists Binki Shapiro and Olivia Chaney

  • Who are the vocalists now, where have Tina Dickow, Sia Furler and Sophie Baker gone?

  • This is just what you can expect from Zero 7 - I love the track, I love the vocalist, its Magic!

  • This is def my favorite song off the album. Hands down.

  • 0:20 - 0:40 sounds like it would be on a Target commercial. :)

  • Goosebumps! Only the 2,000,000,00 time i've listened to it...

  • It's a new song, yet it tastes like a classic.

  • kkkkkkkkkkk eargasm!!!!

  • Is this in 3/4?

  • Comment removed

  • @FaithIsAccidental

    yes it is.

  • @SamCoreJ : Are you sure? Something doesn't quite line up. Sounds like there is something in between. Listen to the drums.

  • @mar33web

Am i sure its in 3/4? Yes.

Unless you were replying to my other comment. If so I can't remember what i said and it has been deleted for some reason.

  • @SamCoreJ How can you be 100% sure it's 3/4? Not that there is much of a difference, but I think it might be 6/8. I asked my wife (a musician and music teacher) and she said it's probably 6/8. Whatever the time sig, it's just an excellent song.

  • @lennycorps

Im going in the basis that the chord progression lasts for 4 bars and then repeats. If your wife is a musician and music teacher though I probably wouldn't fight my corner too hard!

  • @SamCoreJ Well, I'm actually surprised that my wife's explanation sounds less technical than yours! She said it really doesn't make a difference (3/4 versus 6/8), but it's just the "feel of it". You're basing your definition of '4 bars' on 4 sets of 3 beats before the chord progression repeats. I could just as easily say that it is 2 bars of 6 beats that we're hearing before it repeats. To-may-to, to-mah-to... that's appropriate, because the first I heard this song was in a Supermarket!

  • @SamCoreJ She also says 6/8 is known as 'swing beat', because it feels like the swing of a pendulum back and forth -- 1-2-3 in one direction, and 4-5-6 back the other way. Then I reminded her what the song was called, and then it made sense!

  • @lennycorps

Yeah, I stand overruled by your wife. It appears to be 6/8.

    Either way, fantastic track!

  • @SamCoreJ The plot thickens -- I asked my high school music teacher, and we have another opinion now: "It sounds to me like it is written in 3/4 time but is consistently written in two bar phrases. So, one might make the case that it is in 6/4 rather than two bars of 3/4. The difference between 3/4 and 6/8 would be what is accented. dotted quarters are syncopations in 3/4 but primary beats in 6/8 ...IMHO it is a like a jazz waltz in 3/4 and phrased in twos and fours like a pop song."

  • @lennycorps

I never knew time signatures were so subjective!

  • @mar33web A harmonica ...

  • Ten years ago, it was so hard to imagine what new genres would appear in the future... I'm constantly amazed. A truly unique song.

  • i heard this song at work because we got a new playlist of music. and fell in love with this song.

  • definite eargasm

  • i love this song

  • Best tune of the album, but then that's not saying much is it.

  • The intro to this track reminds me a lot of "Pageant of the Bizarre" off of "The Garden" (the album preceding this one). Such a great song.

I love Zero 7. I can't imagine the soundtrack of my life without them... :)

  • Big ups to Binki Shapiro for gracing this record with the only melodic track. Great vocals.

  • Still my favourite from an amazing album, check out the tracks Pop art blue, The road, All of us and Ghost symbol my other favourite tracks from the Yeah Ghost album and Everything up (zizou) is fantastic also. other tracks are all good on fillers on this album which might well be their best.

  • Heard Swing in the record store, did not know Z7, but buyed instantly. MMMMM.

  • Yeah Ghost is great, im so glad they have a new cd out!!! This has the chill elements of cd's 1&2 and the upbeat tunes of cd 3- LOVE IT!!!

  • I love the new album, although not sure at first. I can't wait to see them in Edinburgh.

  • This is the best track on the album. The album is solid. Love this track.

  • I agree with what you say that Swing is the best track from Zero 7's new album. At least from what I've heard of the album so far. Every track is so different though. I was at first not sure of some of the tracks but I love them now and will be going to see them live in Edinburgh.

  • The lack of Sia saddens me.

  • The lack of Mozez saddens me. Why couldn't they have kept that lush orchestral sound from Simple Things? That's the main reason I liked the album. End Theme, This World and I Have Seen were great!! Even 'Look Up' from 'When It Falls' was brilliant. This album just doesn't have that same feeling. It's like it went in the direction of pop. :(

  • Please listen to the full album of zero 7 Yeah Ghost and it won't dissapoint as their still is some classic zero 7 in there. I also thought from listening to tracks like Medicine Man that they might have been going in the wrong pop Basement Jaxx like direction but this album has everything and is great.

  • I'm a huge Zero 7 fan and agree with you that Swing is the best track on the album but it is so difficult to choose as the album has many great songs/tunes in differant styles. The Road is a beautifull song also and Pop Art Blue from the slower tracks.

  • first view. im gunna buy this cd.
