Compare the Raptors 6.2L 411 Horses and 424 ft-lbs of tq against the base F150's 4.6 V8 pushing 248 horses. The Raptor has a much larger engine and A LOT more power. It's Ford's way of appealing more to offroaders.

I, in no way, hate GM, but there is no way that it's better than Ford. The parts of my Ranger are all either made in USA or Canada. On my dad's Silverado and my mom's Venture, the parts are made in Mexico. Why? Because GM is focused more on profit than quality.

You're right. The Camaro V6 has 303 HP. Its a 3.6 what the website said. I can only imagine it having a performance setup. A Ford Taurus has a 3.5 with 263 HP, which is a grannys car. they came out with a 6.2l v8 for this truck its bad ass they have other vids on it and my my buddies dad that recently passes away owned southeastern ford >>> i get the scoop on the new trucks the suspension in the front is stretched 6 inches wider in the front.....btw another tip may b 2010 or 12 they r coming out with a 4.0 turbo diesel 6 cylinder for the f 150 its bad ass .... but i havent seen it ;)

I, in no way, hate GM, but there is no way that it's better than Ford. The parts of my Ranger are all either made in USA or Canada. On my dad's Silverado and my mom's Venture, the parts are made in Mexico. Why? Because GM is focused more on profit than quality.

When this all started they had the smallest bank account, their cash is the lowest of the big three their sales are down the lowest of the big three, and they have so much bad debt that they can't declare chapter 11 bankruptcy, which means the different divisions of Chrysler will just be bought up by the others or fade away into the abyss of the human mind.

your a moron Ford is much bigger than chrysler and Fords saled over seas - in Europe and Asia are what is keeping Ford afloat! If you didnt know Ford put mortgages on many of its American plants within the past 3-4 years and in doing this it increased its line of credit but its nowhere near 15 or 16 bil Also with it beginning to restructure many years ahead of Chrysler and GM thats what helps to give Ford the Edge (no pun intended)

Honestly they both have their flaws,Ford and Chevy, I own a 98 Z71 and an 03 Ranger, they both are a pain in the ass, The Z has to have the water pump and fuel pump changed religously, and the Ranger has to be maintained like a mofo or it wont work right and the damn inertia switch jacks up too. Now for cars I would have to say mustang only because chevy f*d up by making the LT1 but made up for with the LS. But because of that mustang all the way, no fuck ups YET.

Because some of us out there use these trucks for work. And in some cases a prebuilt offroad truck is what some companies need. Not all of us get to our work site on a paved road. Small cars are fine for the average person. But for us that need to get it done.. we NEED trucks.

But for the abuse we put our vehicles through, being just some really ugly back roads, where ground clearance isn't just a question, but a must. And.. yes I do work construction, I'm a plumber and man.. you'd never beleive the places some people decide is a good idea to build.

If you guys with families need a people hauler, get a minivan. Just because a truck or SUV is bigger doesn't mean it's got more room than a minivan inside. The main problem with American auto makers is that they cut too many corners and end up making poor quality cars. It works well for them because then people buy cars sooner. I'm not talking about the engine itself. I'm talking about all the little things that go wrong around the engine. For example, don't use plastic water pumps. sheesh.

I'm from Holland, and i've been driving us cars for the last 5 years,and can only say i like them a lot.I like things to last,goes for clothes,cars,everything.
Ive got a 96 T_bird 4.6 that runs on gasoline,and a 98 f150 that runs on LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) The f150 has 170.00miles on it(275.000km) and runs great, it's a real workhorse,reliable and tough.
I will drive USA cars for the rest of my life.

Hey I'm all for American products as well. But nowadays even Honda is made in the US (ironic thing is that Dodge is made in Mexico). I drive a Dodge myself and I love it. But get this, my uncle's Jaguar is leaking coolant. They used plastic parts!! Also, look at Ford's new diesels = junk. The F150 is still good, but I have lost all respect for Ford and their crappy Jaguars. For all you who like them, that's great!

PS Google some articles, The Camaro doesn't have any profit for Chevy, it costs as much if not more to make the Camaro then they are selling it for. Its going to help the Chevrolet name in the long run, not immediately.
The Mustang even being a GT is a pretty basic thing for Ford to make (even though I love them :D), and they make a lot of money off of them, and dont put much in.
As I said, ANY company can make a badass vehicle, Price is the issue though, and more recently...fuel price.

You're right. The Camaro V6 has 303 HP. Its a 3.6 what the website said. I can only imagine it having a performance setup. A Ford Taurus has a 3.5 with 263 HP, which is a grannys car. BTW I'm a Ford guy but ill end these dumb fights on this note...if you think that Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc. can't make an ultra powerful engine whether I-4 I-6 V6 V8 V10 V12 etc, youre crazy...its making it for a cost efficient price.

It will be interesting.
