Having JON ANDERSON of YES sing this song is a major upgrade over Dylan...Bob Dylan is a legend (deservedly so) and is a great writer, performer and singer (all three areas)...probably the greatest of all time...BUT...JA is THE GREATEST ROCK VOCALIST of all time...who has sang unbelieveably complex songs...and never received the credit due him for his great and unigue talent... Don't believe me...let's see Dylan try singing "Close to the Edge". YES/JA should be in the RHOF!!!!

nice cover by Steve Howe & Jon Anderson...I love that they decided to try this. The original is great as well, but Steve Howe & Jon Anderson bring a cool, otherworldly feel to it. The juxtaposition of some of the images with this song is a little weird (Britney Spears?!)

Never worked out the lyrics? Fancy that. Most likely neither has Bob. But I think you could say he was talking about a mystical idea of inscrutable female intelligence that was a favourite theme of his, as in Love minus Zero, She belongs to me - it's the same theme. "The thick world cannot touch you or understand you".

This is an attempt to match lyrics with pictures a lot better than many videos that have no relevance to the song what so ever.

I also have racked my brains to understand how this at all relates to pornography.....the title of the song is 'Sad Eyed Lady' not sureprisingly there are plenty of ladies in it, but as far as I can see they are all respectably clad. So how is it pornographic?

The video overall not slick but it was a good attempt to make the pictures relevant to the music.
