How does the self charging work? Is Aibo able to find the charging station even if it is in another room? Does Aibo actually search for a way to get to the charging station while obstacles are around them?
Aibo utilizes visual pattern recognition technology to recornise his station. He uses the station tower and marker (the coded black-white squares) that needs to be within a 3-5 feet range from it.
I will forever hate Sony for discontinuing Aibo.
