    Goodnight and nice track indeeeeeeed...

  • 1:00

  • This is the original :D

Anyone remember " The Hitman & Her "? on ITV at about 2:30am, back when Michaela Strachan was kinda fit

  • This isn't the original, this samples "Unwind Yourself" by Marva Whitney, which is an absolute cracker of a funk tune.

  • @notjustahatrack yes indeed!!

  • I saw DJ kool at a Redman concert a few years ago. never knew about the go-go movement till now.....wow!

  • MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song makes me thing "Go clovers, go clovers.." xD

  • gotta love the lover named ed.

much respect to ed lover and the dance.

  • i remember ED's Dance Contest. Anyone could send a Tape to YO!RAPS and he judge and they were showin at the end(hehe).

  • this is the Ed Lover dance YO!

  • No, this is 900 number break beat by Dj Mark the 45 King YO!

  • I Knew who made it, but Ed used to dance on it back in the Yo! mtv raps days..

  • love the loop :)

    but..

    hate the song :(

i just is a constant loop not changing.

    wtf?!

  • What can I say? You're right. There are better tracks with a little more variety. It's indeed a 2-bar pattern which runs thru until the end i. e. for a whopping 4 minutes. I would never buy that because it's just too monotonous. (nor do I like minimal techno, same problem ;))

  • hmm, this gets catchy haha. cool song

  • i remember hearing this on not another teen movie with the hot cheerleaders dancing

  • yes it plays there...write also

Not another teen movie - the coach and have fun;)

  • Marva Whitney "Unwind Yourself"

  • yeah I remember the jump dance, doin it right now!!

  • I still have no idea how DJ Mark hooked up those amazing drum kits he used. Is that distortion on top of the drum loop? I hear the slightly off drum-machine 8th-note hi-hats, and there's probably a detuned 909 kick to give it more bottom as well. Peace.

  • Nice song!

  • BIG UPS Tuff City. I knew this was on your label. Now Hip-Hop has a chance to be saved.

  • 1990 the Infamous Ed Lover dance.

    Golden era for this beat.

Top 5 beats for the block party.

  • I've been trying to find this for years!!! Does anyone remember the jumping "dance" that went with this.. god I used to love it!

  • Artist: DJ KOOL.....

Song: LET ME CLEAR MY THROAT

JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP JUMP

  • hancock theme song

  • POUND IT. POUND IT. POUND IT.

  • Fantastic loop, crap song.

  • That shows YOU'RE not a tru-school......

  • your a loop and endless loop

  • sick beat i wish some1 rapped to it

  • someone did rap to it... on several occassions. namely, on freestyles, dj kool's let me clear my throat, and, right on the 900 number 12', you will hear raps... peace...

i think james brown knew what he was in for when he co-arranged these tracks...

  • Lakim Shabazz did rhyme on it back in the days, and it's on the CD single. Peace.

  • whats the song called?

  • All this is, is a loop..

  • an endless loop..

  • Jump up b-boys and b-girls!

  • totally crackin beat....does anyone remember the dance for it, lol....and of course chad jackson " hear the drummer get wicked " is a pretty cool old school track ..thanks for posting it ...peace

  • this was on a tenor sax right? does anyone know what the notes are? thanks

  • no, it was an oboe.

  • r u sure it's an oboe cuz it sounds like a tenor saxophone. i think its too low to be an oboe.

  • Secrtsanta, I would say it was def a tenor sax. It was sampled from a 60s track called UNWIND YOURSELF, performed by Marva whitney. Do a search for this or look in my favourites to hear it in its original form.

  • I beat Its kickass when the speakers and Bass Is turned upp real loud lol

  • simplisity at it's best!!

  • A great beat, but it was begging to become a sample. It's basically the same 10 seconds repeated for 4 minutes.

  • fUC.kin tune
