I think I have the same camcoder, I got it last year around this time. The HD is wonderful and the size/battery life is great. I got a larger battery for it at the same time I purchased it, but the one that comes packaged is fairly good quality so I never use the larger battery :D.
@shanetm The quality is awesome when I play the videos I recorded on the PMB program the camera came with but when I put the video clips onto sony vegas the quality worsens which the color seems to wash off and I can't figure out why the it looks worse on sony vegas.
@shanetm I used 1080 wmv not xvid, I just played a clip I recorded using vlc and windows media player side by side and it looks better on media player (like pmb). On vlc it looks just like it does when I insert the clip into sony vegas. I dont think your videos have the same issue tho.
@ramon88us If you would like I could tell you the step process I take to render my vids, but its 1 30 am and im on my laptop (use desktop to render) If you would like I could PM you when I get up from sleep and let you know the steps I take. In the meantime get Xvid if you are interested.
@ramon88us Thats bizarre man. I use sony vegas all the time for my videos. Check out my MvC3 or Fallout NV unboxing and see if they have the same issue you are mentioning.
Do you use Xvid? If not I highly reccomend it. It is my favorite format when I render things. Hopefully that will solve your issue.
@ramon88us Btw, the reason I mention those two is because the two most recent videos on my channel were uploaded without any rendering from Sony Vegas, just incase you were wondering why I would specify them... Once again, good luck and let me know how it goes.
I find it amusing that your character gets gunned down and all he says is "OUCH" as if he stubbed his toe!
