They like how Bruce Lee is open to any styles of martial arts just like they are open to any kind of dance or music. They like Bruce's dedication to his art. If arnis has any kind of philosophy that would inspire them, then they might know about it. Don't be sad. ;-)

Living here in Melbourne, I've observed that those who were born/raised here are pretty much, at the very least, aware of the traditions. As for Jabba, Rainen has a new cross-shaped tattoo made up of the Lord's Prayer written in Alibata.

@syleiling Yes, but mostly filams who r confused if they r pacific islander/latino, depending where they grew up. & u can see countless vids on yt on how filams mock filipinos & call them fobs. there's a saying, 'mas kano pa sa kano' - think about it. also it's baybayin, not alibata. i also noticed many of them don't know much of their culture, traditions, nor even speak/understand any filipino language, very diff from other cultures who have pride in their culture more than filipinos
