  • ... Kiai by Hoang Ngan Nguyen = awesome !

... i could watch her kata all day !

  • ... ffs , will you both kiss and make up , or looks like you already have ! , or just agreed to disagree ... nothing worse than seeing 2 karate-ka bickering on you tube ... you have both put your points forward , and both have relevant information , and seem to have plenty of knowledge .... which is a breathe of fresh air ... thats normally not how it goes down on here. Respect to you both , Osu

  • Good Vision..

  • A solid performance, nice fast turns and good shuto block. Variations are allowed.

  • Chatanyara is shito-ryu, but don't know if Nguyen's style is also shito-ryu. Doesn't matter, her Karate is fine!

  • this is why i do shotokan i dont get katas confused with other styles becuase they are so different than mine, i also do shotokan because it is the most brutal style of karate except for possibly isshin ryu

  • @ShotokanBleach You do Shotokan style because it is more brutal? you have been severely misinformed . Nobody should be doing Karate because it is brutal, it is an art form, you should focus on the effect on the mind over the power it gives to control ones body...

  • @MikeSeishindo yeah i kno that's not really what i meant idk why i wrote that but it is the most brutal but thats not why i do shotokan

  • @ShotokanBleach you prolly don't know why you write anything you write! You didn't SELECT shotokan, you ACCIDENTALLY started from a Shotokan dojo! We all started from somewhere without knowing anything about other styles! THERE IS NO BETTER STYLE THAN ANOTHER, there is LOVE for what we practice! And whatever you do in your life, if you LOVE it, you'll be better than any1 else who practices ANYTHING and doesn't love it...

And btw, for your information: Kyokushin is known to be the most "brutal".

  • @asconan actually i did CHOOSE shotokan there are plenty of other dojos in my town and i did research before i started so you can shut up because you dont know me, and btw kyokushin is younger than shito-ryu and shotokan and goju-ryu it took things from the already existing styles

  • @ShotokanBleach having chosen something during your lack of knowledge, does not mean anything! There is nothing to choose! If what you chose is what you enjoyed most from what you saw, then good for you! Just practice that and let others practice what they like! However, mind those knees, you "shotokanists" to have problems with your joints at about the age 40s ;)

Oh and for your kind information, as far as a style is concerned, being "younger" than others, is irrelevant with being "Stronger" ;)

  • @ShotokanBleach as for "shutting up", sorry, you certainly cannot make me :)

Furthermore, you should hang your belt on the wall for sometime and learn one of the basic lessons in martial arts: RESPECT! Respect towards your superiors, as well as towards your inferiors, respect to your friends, as well as to your enemy... It is obvious that Shotokan has not taught you anything my poor friend... ;)

  • @ShotokanBleach oh, and also, let's not forget: taking elements from other karate styles (which is what Masutatsu Oyama sensei, founder of Kyokushin did), is not necessarily bad! Perhaps you should know that the martial art that you are studying, is Japanese. Where it comes from? Okinawan villages Shuri, Naha and Tomari. And where did they get elements from? Chinese tea merchants, teaching them Chinese martial arts (known as "Kung Fu" in our modern world). So, better read some history my friend

  • @asconan i really dont need a history lesson i know everything that you've wasted your time telling me and why should i respect you? i dont know you. you internet warriors are so pathetic. and that bit about being younger doesnt make your style weaker is actually correct shotokan and shito-ryu and goju-ryu are definitely stronger or should i saw more well developed than shuri-te tomari-te and naha-te

  • @ShotokanBleach looks like you're the warrior and you're indeed one, since you are practising shotokan karate because it is more... brutal! lol

As for respect, you should respect even those you do not know, like I do respect you throughout this whole conversation, but then again, what do you know about respect?

I didn't say that "being younger makes a style weaker", I said it's IRRELEVANT... Perhaps you should also learn some english! :)

And Kyokushin ain't my style, for your kind information...

  • which style of karate is this? i do wado ryu and than kushanku is diffrent.

  • @Tychosan this is chatanyara kushanku (shito ryu)

  • Her technique can be clearly be appreciated, in spite of a couple things.Excellent!

  • Holy crap- she is fast!!! A good technician as well!!

  • she scared the ... out of me!
