If you want to glorify God by good words of encouraging that are not a by product of blasphemy using swearing or curse words. You need to use edifying words and tones that lift up and give Glory to the most high God!

But you would need permission if you want to paint on buildings in the inner city.

it doesn't ring true to me at all. I believe the Lord breathed into Adam's nostrils. One time, I was dying and after the incident my friend was praying for me, she saw me the day I nearly died and saw Jesus breathing life into my mouth or nostrils. I know He breathes life into all, but it does not make any Biblical sense that breathing becomes praying, in times like these.

Still does not answer my question about why strongholds have more power than when one has faith in good things? Why does faith in the negative have more power than faith in the good or positive? If I believe the worst I see it materialized, when I've believed in good, I rarely see it materialize. Why the difference in power?

You are assuming that strongholds have more power. In reality Jesus finished work on the cross through His life, death, and resurrection spoiled the devils power in time and eternity. As baptized believers we apprehend that by faith, "faith is a substance" and can only be caught through revelation. The reason that a person whether an unbeliever or a believer has a stronghold is related to the condition of their soul especially if they remain unrepentant in the sin area.

I had faith for over 15 years about being delivered from what I now know is a stronghold. I repented almost everyday for years, begging God to Deliver me..Praying for His Grace where I know my own weakness..didn't happen, and the only thing that kept me from acting again, in sin, under the stronghold, was fear of His Anger, because I've learned that His Blessing and deliverance are not guaranteed, but His Anger and punishment are.

I have prayed and prayed and prayed and BEGGED God many times over the years to heal me, deliver me, and make me whole..hasn't happened yet. I know the power of strongholds, because not even God seems willing to destroy them. I know GOD is much more powerful than anything, what I don't know know is why he has allowed what little faith I had to be gradually destroyed over the years. I know I will suffer His wrath for losing faith, but He doesn't let me see anything to affirm it.

As a last note, I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, and I have given Him the authority and invitation to be Lord in all areas of my heart as well. I still feel alone, forsaken, and hopeless...after all these years of blind faith and believing that if I continue to seek Him, His Word, and His Will, that I would find it...still have no idea what His Will is and still have more fear of His Anger than I do faith...Strongholds have been defeated but why does God not deliver me from them?

The Apostle Paul asked the Lord the same thing once and He replied back that His grace is sufficient for him, meaning there was a greater purpose in his suffering, it must have something to do with purification/cleansing and transformation. Be patient. Pray for greater faith which is a gift from God.

praying for greater faith means greater suffering. I personally can't deal with the cost of getting more faith right now. I wish I had more faith, but it seems that I never will. I had a little faith to begin with, and the continuing trial has destroyed, not built up, what faith I had. I want to be an acceptable believer in Jesus, but I don't have the will to suffer the loneliness, the never ending failed hopes, or the unceasing need, anymore. I am tired and need to let go of hope I cant touch.

sometimes, I can't even pray. All I can do, sometimes, is just breathe. Other times I have enough strength to just say 'help me' when I pray. I think that is where I am today.

In times like these breathing becomes a prayer. The Lord breathe into Adam's nostrils "His" breath of life. I hope this helps.

You have to get into agreement with His Word. Read Dutch Sheets' book "Roll Your Stone Away." Great book. Start confessing God's Word outloud every day and you will gradually start seeing changes in your life. It worked for me.

something I don't understand. Why do strongholds have more power as 'faith in something we believe in' than the faith I have in the good things? What I mean is, when I believe in something postitive, like I will succeeed and God will bless me in whatever, it seems to require more faith, more prayer, and is more susceptible to failure than the 'faith' I have which is strong holds? Why are strongholds a more powerful faith system than faith in God and His Blessings??? I don't get it.

What a stronghold simply is, you are putting faith in something that you are fearing. The fear of the person, place or thing becomes the stronghold because its something that thrives on fear. Fear is faith turned negative. Faith in something that brings on a evil report. Another thing that gives strongholds power, is coming into agreement with it by confessing it in everyday speech, by not turning over to the Holy Spirit and also not walking in forgiveness with your fellow man.
