A fine example of why I despise American garbage "entertainment." Everyone playing some ridiculous over-the-top role. Formulaic scene #23 - people answer the door and act in some ridiculous manner. Closely related to formulaic scene #42 where someone enters a room and starts screaming out embarrassing information to someone they presume is there but unseen when in fact someone else is in the room. You can actually hear the "guffaw."

American entertainment runs the gamut--like most cultures on the planet. References are myriad.

I can't think of much since Masterpiece Theater that would represent anything "good." Oh, wait, that was British, too. Here on youtube you can find some complete episodes of both US and UK "Kitchen Nightmares." The comment sections is filled with discussion about how the American version is dumbed-down greatly - so I'm not the only one to notice this.

When this aired I was serving in the Army, a young, gay,closeted soldier. Icouldn't wait for Wednesday nights so I could watch it. I remember this funny and talented girl. Later I came out and came into my own. It's wonderful to see how far Megan went. Thanks for this clip Alyssa, Awsomw.I wish John Sacret, the producer of China Beach and Dana's ex bitch would get off his ass and release the best thing he ever did.
