I gotta say first of all I don't claim to be a musician. But this is pretty damn cool especially being the fact that its midi. I noticed all the douche bags that are dogging it don't have to balls to post anything they've done. So to the author of this rendition (@midirules) I would ignore their comments. Is it perfect? No. Are there flaws? Yes. But it still rocks pretty hard for being midi. I mean christ.... its Frickin MIDI?! Give the guy a break. Now the rest of you go play nice...... dinks.

I am no music techy, but I got to say that this version is awesome because the sound really sticks out. Like the strumming of the piano and drums being played makes the song much more enjoyable to listen while driving in a car.

I'm sorry, but this sounds like it was done in a very hasty fashion. More than half of the notes are either out of tune or rhythm. I feel the creator of this really could have made something out of this, but come on! The rhythms on some parts are nothing like that on the actual track! Sorry to be so meticulous, but this is just too lacking for my taste.

Sorry this is terrible. Take it from someone that's done a number of MIDI sequences of songs like this - it's fun to do, but it's never going to sound like anything other than a MIDI sequence of a song that was played by live musicians.

This is the song they opened up most of their concerts with for the 75-76 Face the music tour but I have yet to see any film of them performing it. That is the holy grail of many ELO fans, this one included. There is a videotaped concert from this tour but for some reason this song is edited off the beginning and Poker starts the show. It is ridiculous that more official videos have not been released by ELO, especially since there is so much material out there.
