@zapptgummi . Different strokes for different folks there pal, but in my honest opinion that is no. Black Flags importance on punk and alternative is forever undeniable, Dirty Projectors are just some modern hipster band that will be forgotten in a decade.

And you must remember, instrument skill is kinda counter to the whole "Hardcore Punk" ethos. And singing, thats just whatever each person likes. I don't like his voice, I like Rollins more.

The girls' voices are so sweet and perfect.

It always reminds me of R&B singers for some reason but in this case, its fitting, perfect, if you will.
