  • would it be wise to do these stretches before doing a gym shoulder workout?, to prevent shoulder injuries which can keep you out of the gym for along time, I just want take extra precautions

  • Should you do these stretches if they hurt? I suffered a shoulder injury several months ago lifting weights. My shoulder is a lot better, but the muscle spasms and pain haven't quite gotten better yet.

  • As a breakdancer, these kind of stretching really help me prevent of getting injury.

  • Best stretching vid for me. Feels right! I pulled something playing tennis this summer. Feels like front and side muscles need extra stretching. Once in a while now I will feel clicking when i do sudden movements away from my body. So I'm going to concentrate on resting it, icing it and stretching with your exercises.

  • I tried these exercises and had SEVERE pain that night! Had to go to the doctor the following morning. Whether the exercises are wrong or right, be carefull when doing this without guidance of a professional

  • Hi Doc, juz found your video and i was wondering do u have any advice for Acromiovacular Type 2 injury? i've been told it takes 2 months to heal completely and also what should i do to fasten the recovery period... any exercise or therapy u can recommend? Thanx doc ! Any tips would be great !

    I'm a weightlifter and my shoulder gives me pain when I jerk, or after I release pressure, like when squatting when I put the bar back on the rack, it hurts when I let go.

    I took 2 weeks off and it seems to be ok ish but now the other one is starting to do the same! Wtf!

    Some of these stretches hurt my shoulders, should I still continue to do them? That one where you pull your arm over your head, OUCH.

  • on the contrary my MOS is 68 whiskey, Medic. I will actually be saving people's lives for four years and after pursue a medical career. Pointless saving lives isn't it? Chances are I could save your life or someone dear to you so you should think before you speak. No individual in the MIC is corrupt, the ARMY is not corrupt, the government is. But there is no such thing as a pure non corruptible government.

MOS and MIC and whatever terminology you military types use to make your b.s. job seem more complicated than it is. all i know is you're not going to save my life fighting no b.s. war overseas. chances are, your job will take money out of my wallet and devalue the dollar along with it. just know one thing, i don't respect ur job

  • MOS is military occupational specialty & MIC is the Military industrial complex. The MIC was a term created by Eisenhower & he warned the U.S. b4 he left 2 keep it in check. Which hasn't happened.

    & the army prepares every1 for a future career outside of the army, hence it is very supportive of the individuals who do choose to join it.

    and for other matters u don't know what my life events were that led to the army and visa versa about ur opinion so judgement shouldn't be dished out online.

  • I have been experiencing shoulder and neck pain for about the past 4 months. It is job related, I work in the dental field and am stuck in non-mobile postions for long periods of time. In the past I have been to a few physicians, a massage therapist, chiropractor and a neurosurgeon for the same pain. Weekly massages helped. I tried your stretches in this video and other ones that you posted and I immediately felt relief.

  • I have injured my shoulders on both left and right side. I just recently injured my left shoulder and I know when something feels not normal you no something is not right. If you take time off what amount of time do you recommend taking off where I wouldnt be risking losing a lot of muscle and size?
