It's a very sad but, a VERY wonderful post. Being a veteran of over 11 years myself, it sickens me to see and hear about the people trying to live their daily lives and getting mad about being "inconveinenced" by processions like this. Only ONE thing I can say to the young, upwardly mobile who get 'mad'. You don't like it, move to Iraq or Afghanistan.

John Michael was my 2nd cousin. To this day this video still makes me cry...seeing how many people turned out for his funeral out of respect. Thank you to everyone who came and to everyone who stood on the side of the road waving flags. It meant a lot to the whole family to see this kind of support.

Well if you are from a town anything like mine and his, you would know that the people don't mind. Its a very emotional, respectful procession. I have seen a few of these in the last couple years and I have never heard of anyone being upset about having to wait. Have a little freaking respect.
