Let me tell you the story Of a man named Charlie On a tragic and fateful dayHe put 10 cents in his pocket,Kissed his wife and family Went to ride on the MTA Charlie handed in his dime
At the Kendall Square StationAnd he changed for JamaicaPlain When he got there the conductor told him"One more nickel."Charlie could not get off that train.Did he ever return No he never returned And his fate is still unlearn'd He may ride forever 'neath the streets of BostonHe's the man who never returned
Which clip had the driver who told you to stop videoing?
When I was at south station yesterday I was questioned by an MBCR conductor, but I just had to tell him I was making the video as a hobby. I had a copy of the MBTA photo policy in my camera bag but didn't need to show it.
The driver at 1:51 honked and shook his head so I assumed he wanted me to stop filming. I've only been physically told to stop filming once on the green line and I didn't feel like arguing so I just did. When i film at north station the conductors are actually pretty nice about it, especially the one who let me into the cabbage car on the Downeaster
The MBTA and Amtrak conductors and engineers are always pretty nice and most of them wave if I'm filming when they are just pulling out of a station. On the subway however the operators and inspectors aren't as friendly though.
I thought the horn at 1:51 might have just been him honking at someone too close to the edge. That happens a lot. Nice horn though, lol.

Yes, you can as of Summer 2007. The catch is that most T employees don't know that.
