My dog Murphy had a weird predisposition that involved picking up hedgehogs in his mouth and running around the yard with them. Suffice it to say, he was the only one who suffered any damage. We just scooped the hedgehog up with a shovel after the dog was all pained-out and prickly and bleeding and dropped the hedgehog carefully over the fence.
