I screw off the top of my shower hose and connect shower hose with hookah hose and let the water run through (I use hot strong stream at first then cold at the end) and after its done I hang the hookah hose vertically.

To connect shower and hookah hoses better I use that plastic cone which connects metal shaft with hose. I put the cone on the correct end of hookah hose and then stick the shower hose to that place and hold that place with one hand while with other hand I regulate stream.

@Kaspersky1w Yes you can, my younger brother (15) smokes hookah and he has asthma. Asthma is an allergic reaction so hookah does have anything to do with that. (I believe) anyways we smoke together and he's always good. have a fun, happy hookah session ;)

My hookah, has like a little chamber... Them stem goes into the water, and where the seal goes on the hookah stem that seals it with the base, there is the chamber, where the smoke goes into so it can reach the hose valve... I cant get a brush or anything in there, but I know it's dirty because when I put water in it, it runs out really dirty, and I'm pretty sure this is taking alot of the flavor away... Any suggestions on cleaning that? I didn't see anything about it in ur video.

@insanesquirle That is known as a common chamber, and they are poor design. You will have to soak your stem in some very hot water with lemon, vinegar, baking soda, etc. Anything to get that part of the stem clean. You may have to dip, soak and then rinse many times to clean it. After you have it clean be sure to clean it after each use with a generous rinsing of hot water and lemon. That should keep it clean and fresh longer. Cheers!

I clean every piece of my hookah with soap and hot water. I hate the taste of a dirty set up. In addition you are doing your friends a favor by washing your setup out to eliminate the chance of illness.

You have to get another one, i did the same thing. It is possible to smoke out the rust but that would take to long and the rust taste is disgusting.

Need to take it out and wash and dry it separately .. don't leave it in the stem cuz it will rust in place.

do you have the little brushes for the air relief valve and for the hose.. you need to get BOILING water mixed with lemon juice and baking soda and scrub the fuk outta it..

i just had the same issue...

even using simple green wouldnt hurt because its completely biogradable and will rinse...

id do simple green first, scrub then do water,lemon juice, and baking soda... should be good to go..

also if you have a washable hose clean it

Everyone Make sure your hose is a washable one before you Put water in it to clean it. I thought mine would be ok because its plastaic but i messed it up compleately. If you don't know if yours is washable or not I would say don't wash it! just blow the smoke out. Sorry For All Misspellings.

hey i have a question and it would be awesome if someone could help me. i have a hookah but its shaped like a grim reaper and it doesnt really come apart like yours does but anyways its compelety clogged in the part that the hose connects to the base and i have no idea how to unclog it i soaked it in water and i tried pressuerized air and just poking it with a needle but i thing it curves down right away, know what i mean? anyways any idea how i can get that like tar or w/e out of it?

You use it to "clear" or blow out foul smoke during your session. If you blow on your hose while it's connected and you do not have a release valve, you will blow water up your hookah and coals may blow off.

Someone please help...

My "Hookah" used to taste awesome, when smoking Al-fakher Double apple, now all of a sudden, all tobacco including AF-Double apple tastes putrid!, all I can taste in the apple is Licorice, whats happened? the rest all taste putrid full stop, and there is nothing different from the last time I set it up and it worked perfectly.. apart from maybe the coals, can they make that much difference? is something dirty?

you need a a special cleaning product for hookahs. theres a producted called "The Resin Reaper" which can help you with the mint issue.

you have too much water in the vase dude.

fill the vase so that the stem is submerged in the water 1/2" - 1".

hey gr8 vid . i used coffee flavour for the first time in my first hookah . for some reason i can still taste it when i uses strawberry , and i taste the coal . this is still happenin even though i have washed the hookah out . plz help much appreciated

Check out my cleaning vid, you need to clean the hookah out with some lemon and baking soda.

Another tip, coffee is a strong flavor, I have ONE hose just designated for coffee flavors. Some of the taste could be in your hose. That is why it is important to blow the hose out really good after using it.

my hookah has color changing lights and the battery and stuff is right under the tray [the tray screws off] if i soak it it might leak to the battery part. its a small hookah what do you guys think i should do?

You won't be able to soak it, just clean the tray up as best as you can without soaking it.

I just never clean my hoses, I smoke similar flavors in the same hose, for instance a red hose for berry flavors (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, etc) so when I do that, I don't feel I need to clean my hose, except for blowing out any stale smoke in it .. just my own personal preference. :)

I haven't cleaned my hoses in over a year! I don't see the need to, just "BLOW" the smoke out of them as soon as you finish smoking. ANd try to get a couple hoses and use those hoses for similar flavors. I have a red hose for berry flavors. A brown hose for coffee flavors, etc..

Just the hose, is the worry part. I really don't see the need to wash a hose, use it till you need a new one! Just blow the hose out after each use. The hookah though, you want to be sure to dry after washing it, with a towel. and blow out the water in the stem and chamber.

Is there a twisty spot where the bowl would reside? Like a small piece that may twist off in the form of a cone? I have 3 hookah's but one of them you have to twist off an area to take off the tray.
