UT is all class and everyone knows it. You can have all of your conference titles, you only followed through once back in 2000. Remember most of your players are from Texas so show some class once in awhile. This was the best championship game of all time, ask anybody.

His words of life wisdom are words to live by for everyone!!! Yeah, it did suck, how everything turned out, and yes, you'd think that only one injury wouldn't affect a team so critically. However, you have to consider that Colt was pretty much the leader of the group, and when you lose the leader who has lead your team for that long, it can hurt the stability of the team.
I mean yeah, people might argue that they should have trained Garrett more coming to this game, but I think they (along with the rest of us) believed that Colt would be playing pretty much the entire game. I will agree that Alabama's running game was great, but I will qualify your statement by saying that our receivers weren't doing a good job of catching the ball. Our team did fall apart for a while due to confusion I'm sure, but we still fought back, and that's what I'm mostly proud of.

This sure brings back memories. I have to admit that this was the most entertaining season I have ever lived to see from beginning to end. And I say this as a VT alum who had no particular interest in its outcome. Im sure everyone will remember it because of Vince Young. While he was the teams engine, the play I will always remember is the Texas defense coming up big when it had to and stopping White on 4th down.

You obviously missed the entire point of my post...it's not just about on the field results. Stoops focuses on the football...particularly running up the scores, and gets players who get embroiled in scandals reflective of their ethics (rather than just having too much fun in Austin or texting while driving).
Stoops has a lot of wins over lousy Big 12 teams but he can't beat Texas for the life of him nor win a BCS game. He has lost 5 BCS games in the last 6 years...Big Game Bob strikes again.

This sure brings back memories. I have to admit that this was the most entertaining season I have ever lived to see from beginning to end. And I say this as a VT alum who had no particular interest in its outcome. Im sure everyone will remember it because of Vince Young. While he was the teams engine, the play I will always remember is the Texas defense coming up big when it had to and stopping White on 4th down.

You obviously missed the entire point of my post...it's not just about on the field results. Stoops focuses on the football...particularly running up the scores, and gets players who get embroiled in scandals reflective of their ethics (rather than just having too much fun in Austin or texting while driving).
Stoops has a lot of wins over lousy Big 12 teams but he can't beat Texas for the life of him nor win a BCS game. He has lost 5 BCS games in the last 6 years...Big Game Bob strikes again.
