This is what makes Eddie a timeless comedian, like Chaplin and Buster Keaton, because what he talks about here is absolutely universal to everyone who has ever had to watch in horror as their mother tried to cook something to resemble that thing that you like, but then it turns out to be completely different and horrible tasting at that and then you’re stuck with eating it. This has me in stitches every time I see it. My favorite is the look on his face when she tells him to get the eggs.
