  • To anyone who says Clapton is timid now... Rehab spent years trying to keep this "4.07" motherfuckin beast caged, no one comes close.

  • he reminds me of chuck norris

  • Clapton kicks ass! Timeless song.

  • ladies and gentlemen i just had an orgasm

  • Why is does the brother gotta be playing the bass?

  • @speakwordsfoo Cause the brother is fucking good enough to rock with god.

  • Clapton is God! pure and simple :-)

  • That was better than I remembered it!

  • SIMPLEMENTE CHINGON, SEÑORONES DEL ROCK

  • A: Do you belive in God?

    B: Nope

    ...after watching "white room"

A: So, now do you belive in God?

B: Of course, Eric Clapton is God!!!

  • It really should have been recorded in 7.1 surround. Too early for it though!

  • Clapton is a Mega-Player, UK King of Bues and takes pride doing it.

  • Clapton cheats ! He uses God mode !

  • SENSACIONALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!!!!

  • eric fucking clapton!

    what a straight up beast

  • :)

  • Clapton makes it look too easy, as though he's not even taxing his ability.

  • @SuperBoooooooob Well I think that the humbucker roar suits this song better ;)

  • 0:25 IN THE WHITROOOM!!!

  • :))

  • the only other person I recognize (besides Clapton, of course) is Phil Collins

  • This guitar solo proves that Eric Clapton is not man, he truly is god.

  • Mr. Slow hands the best guitar player of all times. I have this dvd lol

  • Mr. Slow hands the best guitar player of all times.

  • Is that a phaser or a wah wah pedal ? please help

  • @fensterchunster Definitely sounds like he's got a touch of phaser or chorus on for the whole song, but it's very subtle. But he's also using wah for certain parts, and for all the solo.

  • @moopadoopolus Thanks pal !

  • PLEASE READ! it's not a good idea to go to biebers video & click the dislike button cause every time we go to his video he gets payed a few cents cause his vid's sponsered. Instead we pick songs like this & get as many people as we can to watch so by the 1st of march on biebers birthday all rock videos will be most viewed on youtubes charts. this will get the younger audience to listen to good music & might have good rock bands form again. (COPY&PASTE!)

  • ITS NOT ABOUT COLLINS ITS ALL ABOUT CLAPTON

  • Awesome! What a solo!

  • godlike....no other words to describe that solo...

  • 克莱普顿SOLO时的气势!!!

  • Simply brilliant-starting at 4:07 you will realize why Clapton was/is known as "GOD" Just watching him play that strat sends a chill down my spine

  • Hands down one of the best songs EVER

  • need to see eric with ginger and jack .. just one time ...

  • Holy Holy _Hit--I would wash his feet---

  • I'll be honest, I'm fairly new to being interested in music at all. I rarely payed any attention to what was on the radio, didn't listen to what my parents did, and then, one day, I saw Cream's reunion concert in 2005 at the Prince Albert hall, and was hooked. Cream has since become my favorite band, and Clapton my favorite artist among them. It's a shame neither Jack Bruce or Ginger Baker were here, as any good concert needs at least one rendition of 'Spoonful' and 'Pressed Rat and Warthog'.

  • this video is too awesome for the internet!

  • @q8gooner :)

  • White room.White shadow.

  • Kinda weird Clapton sings the part he did not use to sing, and Greg Phillinganes sings Clapton's actual part. But I do like it.

  • @DiddyTheDuck2 Yeah and Not enough ANGER or GRowl in that thin old voice now but still a nice "quiet" version hey.

  • took 3 men to do the job jack bruce did all by himself. still very good

  • Please look at Blues Boy Kings on w w w . bluesboyking .co .uk , on twitter, myspace and reverbnation. Some great guitaring there too! Thanks y'all!

  • Anyone else think the first shot of Clapton looks a bit like Tim Curry :o

  • @onebigmutha Hey, Eric, do you want a balloon? lol

  • Clapton giving a master class

  • Simply horgasmic  8====D- - - - ---

  • Une version d'enfer! Merci pour la vidéo!

  • i think I just creamed

  • i cry when i hear clapton.

  • bloody unbelievable

  • du karalhooo

  • Eri Clapton IS GOD

  • best version - /watch?v=X4I2crqykPA ..lol

  • Awesome! What a great guitar player!

His performance for the live aid 85 (feat. Phil Collins) was definitely one of the best of the whole concert!

  • "Obama good political leader", you're kidding right?...Didn't you mean, "Good Political Joke!"

  • @ThunderGobble He's better than the last.

  • @MayChild8 SOOOOO much so

  • Just not the same without the gibson SG.

  • The White room?

    The OVAL ROOM?

Obama good political leader ,profound human man ,may he last another "presidential go", and lead that country awayfrom the lost-minds liberal overdrive into GOOD and THE FUTURE, STEADY AND STRONG FOR ALL WHO HAVE THE SIMPLE RIGHT TO BE FULL OF GOOD SENSE AND HARD WORK!

    Bernard

  • @ronnied828

u know what... id like to see you go up there and play like clapton. he puts energy into everything he plays just by playing it...... jealousey is a sickness that youve caught.

  • it was nice to see eric put alittle energy into his solo for a change, lol

  • one of the best versions. so much energy! only live aid come close to beating it!

  • 4:06 Comense Jizz overflow of to much awesome in one song!!!!

  • epic clapton and friends.

  • I'm not sure who sings Greg Phillinganes part on the cross roads album, but he sounds exactly like Herbert from family guy. If it is Greg he doesnt sound the same live

  • @BadJuJu007 its the bassist of cream and wasnt it on Disraeli Gears???

  • @PaladinV0ci Thanks for the answer. It may have been on that album also, but I know its on disc 2 of crossroads

  • is it just me, or did anyone else notice that Greg Phillinganes kinda messed up the lyrics on the chorus? i think on the studio version it doesnt say 3 times the same lyrics :)

Thrilling performance btw, clapton and his talented friends at their very best

  • I don't know how many times I hit the like button. But when I heard the solo I hit it 50 times more!

  • #t=04m06s GOD MODE = ON

  • what a great performance...

  • genious...

  • 4:06 is the best part.

  • I think commented on another post, Maybe,"She"s Waiting" that Clapton's voice sounded so good, blah blah blah. I was completely off base. Here, he delivers an incredible vocal peformace in this clip, and watching him play that solo is incredibly sexy. Those hands.

  • @halcyonsgs just think about what else he could do with those fast, coordinated hands...

  • I cannot stop watching this. What an incredible collaboration of superlative talent. Thank you so much for posting.

  • I prefer Jack's vocals for this awesome song. Cream version is better, imo.

  • i play ths on gutitar

  • awasom guitar Playing, my friend was so impressed that he listen on him every day, every time. :D

  • awasom guitar Playing, my friend was so impressed that he listen on him every day, every time. :D

  • pfff eric should've done the vocals in this song instead of jack. much more bluesy & powerful.

  • he

used to look like a teacher

  • Fantastic, amazing; one of the best claptons' solos I have seen ever!!!!!!!!!

  • awesome solo. he attacks the solo like nothin else ive seen him play

  • That solo is incredible

  • Phil keeps his mouth shut? That was uncalled for! Phil is a great singer!!

  • ONE M0:00RE TIME

  • this is slowhand !!!!!

  • certainly one of the best guitar solos ever

  • @mlc520120 nah this guitar solo is nothing compared to the solos he did with cream.

  • @bigmatt9494 you must be joking mate, this destroys the original white room solo .. go listen to both and you'll see

  • @bigmatt9494 yup!!!

  • I didn't know Phil Collins played his drums backwards... interesting.

  • It insuts me when people say clapton is god... God is like a pile of shit if you compare him to clapton :D

  • How could I have forgotten how much I like Clapton? Blunt force to the head? Playing too much GD & Steely Dan? This is fantastic. AND I can mimic his voice if I sing the "walked into such a bad time at the station" if I do it right when I've woken up and my throat is loose.

  • Clapton doesn't press starpower, starpower press Clapton.

  • Phil Collins doing what he should be doing, playing drums and keeping his mouth shut.

  • @kubrick681 best comment ever.

  • @kubrick681 is your last name kubricky?

  • @kubrick681 what? You should be keeping your mouth shut!

  • @kubrick681 ha ha ha ha...wow

  • @kubrick681 tell it also to the keyboarder!

  • @kubrick681 Well said !

He's no replacement for Ginger B either ........

  • @kubrick681 you mean you dont like his voice? ... why not? :S

  • @kubrick681 ur mean

  • It really surprises me that you are 40 years old, meaning you've lived the great era of the 80's and you've lived one of the greatest artists of all time, Phil Collins and you still have such a shitty attitude towards him... Well to your information, Phil has completely OUTSOLD in every sense and meaning of this word Clapton... Both in his Solo career and with Genesis... He had hits that are still loved and considered some of the greatest songs of all time... And this gotta count for sth;)

  • @FuckNoAvailableName Phil Collins outsold Clapton?? Eric Clapton is one of the most gifted, talented, and beloved musical artists since the 1960's. Phil Collins is an amazing artist and he is loved, but has NOTHING on Eric Clapton.

  • @kubrick681 Yeah quite right but he is NO GINGER BAKER is he

those arms and wrists could fling axe handles into snare rolls Mate.

  • @kubrick681 Phil Collin's is a great singer well, that's where my opinion stands.

  • @MitchellRutledge1 He's a great drummer

  • @kubrick681 well you can't really say that because he is good at both; singing and playing the drums ;)

  • @kubrick681 .....Indeed...Awesome drummer....as a singer, he is annoying as hell.

  • @kubrick681 shit the fuck...

  • @kubrick681 Amen.

  • crazy solo

  • ey guitar players, wanna see and hear the only guy around that players like clapton did in this time period?

check him out especially his crossroads live video lesson.its the best out there

  • A great big Colosseum song. Well played. All great musician's. Have seen Nathan and Greg with other bands...Nathan was with Fourplay last year and Greg was with Herbie Hancock...Greg is a great singer.

  • Clapton ROCKS

  • No wah-wah? No Woman? No White Room

  • @The12Child well, he had the wah-wah pedal, but didn't use it while playing solo QQ

  • wow never thought id see phil collins playing with clapton!! awesome!!

  • @19mustang85 He's been playing with Clapton for decades actually, ever since early 70's I think, on and off. There are a lot of recordings on youtube with two of them together, all of them great, you might like them. My fav is The Thrill is Gone with BB King, Clapton and Collins, check it out.

  • 4.40- oh ive nailed it hes thinking. Fuckin awesome solo . He is God

  • I saw Clapton live a few years ago... Best concert I will ever see... and Im only 23 and Ive seen dozens of concerts

  • Love Colin, Hate Baker the self kikker, it's better for him to go and cut some wood.

    This is together. G.

  • bajando!

  • @ThrashRoC - Yeah, same. Never been a great fan of Phil Collins, but he usually ranks highly on lists of best ever drummers, deservedly. "One of the greatest drummers" isn't what most people immediately associate with Phil Collins, but he is right up there, as you say FUCKING great.

  • its a mix from chuck norris and hugh laurie

  • i must say , as a hater of phil collins singig , he is a FUCKING great drummer !!!!

  • Great vid! Clapton is a class act and an outstanding musician. Phil Collins is one of the best drummers the UK has ever produced.

  • Mmmm delicious bass groove at 2:48

  • Great musicians - and don´t forget Phil Collins on drums :-)

  • Clapton Can't sing high so he gets someone else to do it. I don't think he could ever sing high could he

  • @CacheSeaker

I've never heard EC sing high-notes either...he's a baritone, more or less

  • the best solo of clapton is heree
