And concerning South Africa: one of their eleven official languages is Afrikaans, which is directly descended from Dutch, but quite different indeed. Afrikaans is the third most spoken language in South Africa, and is spoken more than English.

Aruba isn't a part of the Dutch Antilles anymore and is way more independant now ... over there they speak Papiemento AND Dutch ... so there's a fourth country where Dutch is an official language at the moment. :)

In the UK yes, on mainland europe the limiter is removed from factory. And to the post above about the T5. It can keep up with the m5 for 2 reasons

1. The T5 is tuned, all cop cars are to some degree, especially the motorway ones.

2. The drivers of the m5 was probably inexperienced.

Unlike Germany, the Netherlands have a blanket speed limit of 120 kph on motorways so this bloke was traveling at up to twice the legal limit.

Apparently he managed to reach the German border but - as the last speaker explains - it was a Dutch registered car (black characters on a yellow plate) so a hefty fine will await him back at home.
