una consulta brother...yo importe de autocad con capas al 3d max..resulta cuando el plano esta levantado y quiero dar color a los muros..como estee esta en capa se pinta todo..como puedo hacer para pintar los muros de distintos colores..espero su respuesta pleasse
@Henjleaves hi there. My spanish is not very good, so I hope I understood your question reasonably well. When you import objects from autocad that are on the same layer, all should have the same wirecolor. However, if you set that layer current in 3ds Max and you create a NEW object, this object may have a different wirecolor. to prevent that, go to Customize > Preferences and enable Default to By Layer for New Nodes before you create any new objects in 3ds Max.
Thank you for the give, just a quick question. how would you best describe what the layer does/used for? becuase im still a little confused of the use of layers
