0:45 He has read the highway code, but he didn't read the bit about maintaining a vehicle for road use. Those coppers would have shafted him for it. Though, that police car had something wrong too. It isn't displaying a tax disc. An emergancy vehicle is exempt from road tax, but a tax disc must be applied for and displayed.

@fruitnveg Not in 1984 he wouldn't, the law was only 1.0mm on the tyres then! The law changed to the current 1.6mm around about 1990.
