  • seeker EG6 ran a 1:01.6 at tsukuba circuit in 2006.

  • Are The Swif NA Too??...

  • i think the suzuki driver feels the pressure when the eg6 is tailgating closely XD

that is the DK spirit XD

  • The Suzuki coud go faster and with that gearbox he didn't have to bother to heal and toe and using clutch :S

If it was a rally driver the story could be diferent

  • Ones a race car others street car with bolt ons. Considering what the civic is basic bolt on its good its staying with it

  • he could have overtaken at 1:25 pretty easily if it was a tiny bit wider, i reckon the EG6 won that one. That Suzuki is pretty sick though hah

  • @SouFAk74 No he could not have. He would have been an idiot for trying. Maybe with a better car he might have made it, front wheel drive isn’t known for being particularly good at anything.

  • @d9thwonder *if the track was a tiny bit wider* < key words right there. It isnt known but it is possible.

  • 0:05 Du Homo xD

  • what is the name of the drive in the green suit?

  • @X0n3 He is Keiichi Tsuchiya known as the Drift King.... One of the best japanese drivers ever, the godfather of drifting google Keiichi Tsuchiya and find more about his life because he is a living legend...

  • gives me great joy to see the eg sitting up is arse vote up if u agree

  • Please, the next time you have to put a driver who not use the hand brake in fast corners. And, if it´s possible, he/she doesn´t break in the first corner like that. And in the start, he/she change to second gear when the car stop to loss traction, avoiding the fall of revolutions.

I think this video is a shame. Put Joan Vynes ( spanish rally driver ) in the seat of the Suzuki, and tell me the result.

  • If I have money I can do this easyest

  • u know when ur a rally driver wen... u pull the handbrake mid corner to balance out the car.

  • civic understeers like a mofo, swifts ready to roll at any second !

  • c'mon. the swift's a WORKS car. that means lots of money put into that chassis and engine. yes, the civic has 200cc more. but that's about the only noticeable advantage it had. considering it is STILL a street car. the swift had a seq tranny for crying out loud. and it showed when dori's 86 couldn't keep up with it in an earlier battle. whereas the eg6 was up it's ass all the way till the end. with a 5-speed.

  • @vtec82 The swift is on gravel setting.....Just like the lancer WRC was when they did the showdown with it. Setup the cars specially for this course like done during a rally and do the showdown again.

  • @KIDmar1000 like i said the swift dusted the dori's own 86 by a big gap. why not do away with the sequential tranny and all the works-tune suspension/chassis/drivetrain and put the swift to street settings and the eg6 using a b16 engine instead of a b18 and see what happens. it'll be more interesting.

  • @vtec82 Why they used the two works cars for a battle was to show that their street tune cars can keep up....Which they can't if the works cars were setup for the conditions

  • @KIDmar1000...keep up? i mentioned that dori's own 86 got left by a huge gap. it couldn't even keep up. and it's his personal ride once dubbed as the 'touge monster' not too long ago. that said, this vid is for entertainment purposes at the end of the day. no use arguing on what might/might not have been. the producers of the show all the way down to the crew and tuners would've have known better what settings were used for both rides than all of us viewers.

  • They both have same ff layout, tuned suspensions and good drivers, but the civic has a 200cc advantage when it comes with the engine..

  • If I Judge the Swift is the winner... Also this swift is not setting on the road it should lowered for better handling

  • @zeckywd then its obviously not a winner....

  • @captivated22 thats incorrect.

  • no cuz that eg come closer to swift than when they start

  • The way it's judged is not on who crosses the line first. If the lead car gets further away from the chase car by the time they reach the finish, the lead car wins. If the chase car stays right on the lead car, the chase car wins. If the chase car overtakes the lead car, it's an automatic win.

  • it's a sudden-death death match. if the leading car pulls over he wins. if the chaser keeps up until the goal he wins. in this case tsuchiya won because he managed to keep up with the swift until the flag.

  • wait a sec....i got that backwards....

  • uhhhh.....he's using heel-toe here.....on a windy course....without a very long high speed section....left foot braking would have slowed him down here.....hence his foot work. I thought this much was apparent.

  • renzotech is completely right about this if he used left foot braking here he would only created oversteer and loose time

  • The Swift driver has no clue about what he's driving. He's not using the sequential tranny to his advantage and is still using the right foot on the brake. Who still does that I dont know but certainly not world class drivers.

  • errrr hes doing heel toe... do you even know what your talkin about?

  • wtf, just because its a sequential doesnt mean its completely clutchless. some sequential trannys need a quick lift to relieve pressure to upshift and still need to clutch in (also heel-toe) when downshifting.

not everyone is colin mc'rae who only uses left food braking. there are actually only a small percentage of drivers who use it.

  • on downshifts u still need to clutch in on normal sequentials. we are not talking about those multi milion dollar sequential used by subaru wrc, which is controlled by a computer to downhift without clutch.

  • Geeez the miss information on here is increadible. The main porpuse of a dog gear kit either H patern or sequential is the clutchless shifting. Its also more reliable when abused. The sequentials used in the WRC are actally fairly similar to the boxes in the Super 2000's and Super 1600's, the main difference is the computer controlled gearchange, clutch and throtle actuation. Hewland on the Subarus, Xtrac on the Fords, and Sadev on the Citroens.

  • EG6 !!!!

  • That swift driver has never heard of left foot braking... He's obviously not a rally driver.

  • Yes you do moron... inform yourself instead of spewing bullshit.

  • well obviously dont know a thing about rally driving clown. left foot braking is only used for weight transfer to help SLIDE the car through a corner, something a fwd cant do without applying the e-brake, its common logic if you know how to rally drive which u obviously dont u geek.ur just another wannabe

  • The only clown here is you. Left foot braking is mostly use to prevent the weight shifting too much to the rear tire in fwd cars reducing understeer. Who's lacking common logic now ?

Little troll go back to your mommy.

  • well ull see that the swift driver uses the handbrake too keep the rear out and elimate understeer while being able to keep the throttle on. left foot braking on a fwd causes nothing but understeer.go do your homework school boy

  • He's using the handbrake to unsettle the rear nothing more and I don't need lessons about rally driving but thanks...

You don't understand the physics of left foot braking in a fwd car and there is no point arguing with you.

  • the swift is 4wd tard

  • @poop4256 its fwd and the swift is not tarmac setup-(ed) couse the car is way to hight from the ground.I saw swift s1600 live on rally and they ware much lower then this one.

  • Personally, I think the Group Sport "N2" AE86 will kill the "JWRC" Swift !

  • @VzzzV That could be an interesting battle, wow!!

  • the swift is 1000kg due to regulation

  • to all you noobs, give credit to the eg6. you all talk as if you could do a better job than the swift driver.

the fact is, the swift driver left the dk's itb4age 20v powered 86 in the dust in the previous battle.

the dk couldnt keep up. even i thought it would be a close fight between the swift and the 86.

stop giving "because, if, but" excuses from the comfort of your armchair.

  • The swift driver was crap.

  • The Swift weights a lot less and has better tyres, meaning that it has better acceleration and handling, but it has a horrible driver. The Civic won because it had Keiichi Tsuchiya as the driver.

  • Keiichi Tsuchiya drove his personal Ae86 and loss to this machine.

  • I think it's just Tsuchiya driving skill that makes the EG6 wins.. Overall, I choose the Swift (except the driver!).. T.T

  • I think Tsuchiya needs to upgrade is AE86 once more

  • you're an idiot the N1 wouldnt stand a chance against either of them cars the seeker eg6 is a beast

  • both car = mild performance 1600cc fourbangers..

the real 1600cc monster is the SR16 Neo VVL N1. Even Type R DC2/EK9 is no match for the Pulsar N1.

  • sorry the japs are still using the ek9 as the referred platfrom for circuit races over the pulsar vz-r n1 as seen on the best motoring japan videos..

you should watched the video showing the autech-tuned vz-r n1 version II beaten by a spoon-tuned ek9.

  • swift is the greatests

    Woooot SUZUKI !!!
