i have always had vintage sleds im now the owner of a 76 john deere 340 liquifire and i still love the old sleds i dont need no soft susp. or 4 cyl i love the old single and twin 2 strokes pop pop pop :)
@quincee33 I'm with you. The main thing that really sucks about most vintage sleds is making premix! Not much fun having to premix oil with you everywhere, either- it always seems to find its way out of the bottle and all over the bottom of the tool compartment.
I still ride my '78 Polaris TXL 340. Its getting an engine rebuild this summer. If i can figure out some sort of carrier for my wheelchair for the back of the sled, i will seriously consider going out in the next couple years.

Yamaha invented the oil injection system on the Enticer.....great invention or breakthrough...no more mixing gas and oil in a jarry can!
