No, that's not true at all. If I am correct in inferring from your posts that you think that a God is responsible for creation, then it could be that the God created the universe which set things in motion, but did no more and everything else resulted.
The problem with your comments is that you seem to think the evolution needs to prove literally everything from the Big Bang onwards to be true, and that just isn't the case. Evolution is just about changes in lifeforms over time, nothing more.

I don't think the scientific method is capable of giving life meaning. Each scientific theory deals with one problem at a time, ie..theory of gravity, theory of evolution, quantum theory and abiogenesis with origins of life on Earth. Start, middle and end are contructs of the human brain and may not have any reality outside of our brains. I do appreciate your wanting to see the big picture but science isn't equiped to do that.
The story of human evolution does go back further than 5-7 million years ago, but before then it was a history that we share with Chimpanzees.
It looks to me that this program will cover the direct evidence that we have for human evolution, and there's no reason why the same program should have to cover the Big Bang or the origin of life or anything else.
everyone is free to believe how we come to existence, some story make sense other don't ,the crucial point in each story is the integrity and validity of the beginning

Human evolution started some 6 million yrs ago but life started some 3.5 to 4 billion yrs ago shortly after the earth formed. 999 billion yrs ago this universe didn't exist but it could have formed like a bubble from another universe. One thing is for sure, the book of Genesis is a fairy tale.
This series looks good. Ever since they mapped the human genome, evolutionary biology has taken a quantum leap forward. It's getting so much harder if not impossible for bible-toting fundies to muddle the waters of public opinion on the facts of evolution. Frauds like Michael Behe better find another way to make a living:-)
With the work in genetics going on, it won't take a million years. We'll be editing our children's dna within 100 years or maybe less. The changes won't be big at first, like getting rid of disease, and editing appearance slightly. But once those genes are in the gene pool... who knows? Evolution never stops.
@legalizemarijuananos No you don't. However, there is vague evidence to suggest that our brain functions are evolving in some way or another. I forget how, but do look it up, very interesting study.

Because of the dependency nature of the story
if the any part is wrong then the entire story is wrong
like 2x3x6x7x5 if any number become zero the result will be zero
if there was no universe there would be no Earth
and if there no Earth there would be no man
what make the existence make every thing exist
so what made universe exist also made Earth exist and made man exist
you can not separate the story of man or other living been from atmosphere they live on

Yeah, hopefully this is just a trailer and they don't say that in actual program. That is just what creates misunderstandings about evolution.
