This game used to be really scary when I was a kid. I never understood the point of it and was always waiting for ghouls to jump out and get me. I just sat there in complete terror waiting for monsters.
@Taokatoamv It's a really, really good first-person point and click puzzle solving adventure game. When this came out, it was really unique, and even today, it holds up pretty well. You can't say it sucks based on what you saw in this video, because you pretty much didn't see any of the game.
@Taokatoamv playing myst for the second time is the same as building a jigsaw puzzle for the second time.. i guarantee you that you spend a while solving this game
@zage1980 no. you would have no way of knowing all the things he did without memorizing it first. Theres whole other levels in order to get thsoe passwords and stuff.

When they were still connected to the (expensive e.s. SoundBlaster) sound card. That right there should tell you how old it is.

That's also not the point of the game. It's a puzzle game. Doing a Myst speedrun is really really easy.. if you have played the game once. Because you know how things work and must be solved.. and in a puzzle game that's important. As a new player you wouldn't know this and therefore couldn't ever do this.
@devuurheer this is a classic adventure puzzle game, if you like classics adventure puzzle games deff play it.. although i was sure the graphics looked better when it played it

"no cheating" that is, if playing through the whole game to memorize crap one time first before recording is't cheating.
