@brucaX10 The skyline of Mumbai is changing for sure. There are many skyscrapers coming up - both residential and commercial. The best being 'Lodha World One' which will be the tallest residential building though it may get overtaken sometime later. Many townships in and around like Hiranandani and others are contributing to improving the aesthetics of the city. I would say you would see some major changes in the next 3-5 years or sooner.
Now there are quite a few slums in Mumbai which are bigger then Dharavi now. These are 1)Nehru Nagar, 2) Kurla-Ghatkopar belt 3) Mankhurd-Gorandhi belt 4) Yogi and Yeor hill slopes. No wonder 78% population of Mumbai lives in slums.

@brucaX10 The skyline of Mumbai is changing for sure. There are many skyscrapers coming up - both residential and commercial. The best being 'Lodha World One' which will be the tallest residential building though it may get overtaken sometime later. Many townships in and around like Hiranandani and others are contributing to improving the aesthetics of the city. I would say you would see some major changes in the next 3-5 years or sooner.

We spend money in constructing temples and mosques in the place where it is not required. We like the politics based on religion and caste. We are our own enemy. Let us accept this fact. Dont blame the govt. bcoz the govt is elected by us. We Indians are only interested in the things which are less important. and people r cruel .i had went to mumbai in 2008 as soon as i got out of airport and took an autorickshaw he charged me 500 for mere 3 km . i gave him 500 more and told him "take this also" as reward .and i went back to airport and waited 10 hours took a flight got back to jaipur. my god i cant go such a hell place.dirty trains and the govt.dont do anything for innocent people there.
