years an years ago u could get black cymbals. paiste just discontinued them to the public basiclly. u can still buy them u just have to special order them from the factory. and black isnt the only color they come in. ie seen white coated, and even chrome which look amazing.

its not a total lie, joey used the alphas in all the videos and for recording and in 06, he used white coated alphas.

joey uses rudes and alphas all black coated i prefer i lighter sounding cymbal so i prefer the alphas

that's nice kit. it would be wise to get a rack that way you can get the toms off the bass drums so that the bass drums can resonate a little more freely. that's what i did with my pdp fs double bass kit and it sounds awesome!

Awesome kit man, it did kinda sound like you had no idea what you were on about. Lol, your toms need tuning and that snare has so much more potential than what it sounds like now. Tuning is much and well needed haha. If you can afford a kit like that you can sure as hell afford better cymbals. I have Zildjian ZXT's and they rock my jocks. :P Oh and $800 hats haha. Best i've ever heard.

no the covers aren't graphite, they're polyurethane, and yes both those and the tips are replaceable.
