and for u noobs who don't know about VW, the electrical issues were mostly Mk4 and not Mk5... so yr talking about cars that have not been produced in a while, oh and have fun modifying your toyota's, that's another reason to buy a dub.

I mean, if a civic si can be considered performance with 197 HP and 130 torque, then this with 140 hp and 236 torque can be considered one.

and the 99-03 golf gti had 150hp and 160 torque, and boasted 0-60 times of 8.1

This can do 0-60 in 8.1 once it's broken in.

I'm sorry for you, you know nothing about cars. New 2008-2009 models are a lot more reliable and can be compared with Nissan with no problems. The engines,equipment, handling,suspensions,brakes and quality in a VW is superior to a Toyota and that's for sure. I drove a Prius, Corolla, Matrix, Avalon and a Rav4 and I must say that Toyotas are going down. The only reason why people buy Toyotas is because of the reliability. What a joke.

Here in Europe all tests are really negative in a lot of ways if u speak about VW.

And we're not talking alone of reliabilty!

VW = boring, to expensive, bumpy ride, electronical faillure (more than 90% of all VW's you see in Holland have broken lights), low quality, much less equipment than every model based Toyota etc.
