All people have a right to self-determination. Be it Palestinians, Basques, Scots, Padanians, Tibetans, Ughurs, Chechens... If a majority of a community want to have the ability to govern their own region in the interest of their people then they should be allowed to do so. Unsustainability may drive some back into larger states, but most will find a new purpose and cause working for the betterment of their communities. Strong local governments who value their people's opinions. The way forward.
you all talk shit scotland is scotland and the only country to have never... been invaded by the romans or the english freedom is a word only ever excepted by us and is only ever true when used by a scotsman and a word that will become a scottish symbol of hope and life god fuck the qeen and pope long live the people of scotia
@muzza230 Totally agree with almost everything you said, and I love Scotland. One thing is that Germany also was never conquered by Rome, and in fact gave the Romans their worst ever defeat in the Teutoburg forest
I love my country with all my heart, it may be a cleche i know but when you see the extream beauty our country possesses you cant help but feel your heart burst with pride.
Long may the sons and dughters of Scotland grace this great land, Long may its beauty shine, and long may our people honor our culture, treaditons and homeland. Long live Scotland and long live the cause to make our nation free again.
i AM proudly scottish & my heart thanx sweet janet "jessie" fenton & dear james urquhart ireland, my great-grandparents who left their childhood home & many family who remianed innn bonnnie dundee :):):) happpeee helllzzz belllzzz GIFT illuminatesss my LONGING for ancestral homezzz sailing away HEARTSSS toook huge risksss KNOWing THEIR truth love HAS NO borderzzz my 2000 trip transformed my entire BEEEing i MUST return HERE!!! 17 AWEvationzzz from chicago, john ireland!
absolutely brilliant, i am scottish myself but i never see scotland the way everyone who isn't from here sees it and i always would like to see scotland from a visitors pint of view. its videos like this that are remind me that the country i live in is so rich i scenery, culture and history, long flourish scotland!!!!
Great pictures, if you want the best daytime view of Scotland climb up the Dumyat (thats the hill behind the Wallace Momument in the last photy) You can see the Cairngorms to the north, Trossachs to the west, Embra to the east and the Wee Coonty, the Forth, Stirling, Bannockburn and Falkirk are layed out in front you to the south.
Best Night time view is from the Stirling Castle Esplanade. It's totally dark where everything else is lit up. Take a White puddin Supper wi ye and enjoy.
I am not Scottish by heritage but am Norwegian by same. The MacGregors fled to Norway a couple of hundred years ago and became "Griegs". Edvard was one of our proudest heritages. If you don't want them, we shall claim them as our own. Lovely people.
... I love my Scotland so much. When i see how beautiful she is it makes me wonder why the rest of the world can't learn from her examples. Instead it's more wars and increased poverty... Maybe sometime we'll all live as equals and be united. I'd like that. =)
AGAIN a video comes on celebrating a beautifull country and arguments break out about nothing and writing i vow to thee my ulster is this a lodge or loyalist video i think not wrong place mate. and also why do you feel the need to justify a nice comment by writing Englishman after it you just put across the stereotype that all scottish hate the English but we can be above them by being nice your just as fucking racist as you THINK they are
ireland and scotland are very alike, i amnt neither nation but i agree and disagree, scotsmen are bore brass than irishmen (as a trend) but theres no place on earth like scottish highlands. they make niagra falls look comical, probably the most beautiful place on earth
@agormanvideos Thomas Howard is my 13th Great Grandfather was the English Commander at Flodden. On the other side was James IV and his brother my Great Uncles and Ist Cousin. Edwards 1 is my Grandfather so is Robert the Bruce. The English and the Scots, the Welsh and the Irish, are all interrelated. This was written by and Englishman as he wrote of the great losses in World War I. Many,Many of those losses were IRISH and Scottish soliers who died for KIng and Country. We remember. REMEMBER!
s**te my patriotism is based on the true history of Scotland which I have studied since childhood not a romatic love film with flimsy innacurate facts of history. I have studied the real history of Wallace how much truth do you really know? banditronnie?
Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson isn't, Australian he's American He was born on the 3rd of January, 1956, in Peekskill, New York. Wallace was no nobleman. Being part of Europe is a decision that a free Scotland will make its self.
Mel Gibson left the US at age 12, was raised in NSW. Went to Uni in Sydney. Still talks with an Ozzie accent.
Sir William was a titled man, noble by both birth and action. Do not demean his stature by trying to make him out to be some sort of working class hero.
PS: I am an Aberdonian. My opinions on Scottish Nationalism are well considered.
60 %to 80% of SAS soldiers are Scottish. The Scottish people are Brave resourceful and true to their country! Our History is Littered with our martial glories.Scots wha hae!!!
Our patriotism is based on pride for our country. Who the hell are you to assume we only love our country because of a historically inaccurate film? bud GTF quite simply. Your obviously an ignorant, misinformed twat with their head so far up their on rear they really don't have a clue.Typical racism to assume everyone in Scotland worships that film, chances are I hate it more than you, poor acting, historically biased and dreadful accents and by the way, Mel Gibson was American not Australian.

Freedom to become a minor province of Brussels.
Your nationalism is based on an accent and a mostly innacurate portrayal of a member of the nobility by an Australian actor in the pay of Americans.
