yes its my car and yes iv since seen the light and lost the pony tail.this pointless exercise was to see if id managed to rebuild the diff correctly.So iguessed the only way of telling was to give it a bit of strain.p,s th car is now nearl finished after been of the road for a year for a complete rebuild.
