Greetings from regina! Had a car similar to gloria but she treated me like shit and used and utterly abused me, had to scrap her in the end. Hope yours treats u better (tho for 200 bux your already ahead). thanks 4 sharing!
Yeah, gloria was a great car. I eventually sold it in June '08 for $240 and I recently saw it in downtown Regina one day (with a different owner than who I sold it to).
Yeah, it was a pretty sweet deal I found on the internet. The car doesn't even leak/burn any oil or need to be put though safety/emissions before I could drive it. Once my sister gets her new car, I'll finally be able to sell it (I've used it twice for the entire month of May).
Dang, I can't imagine not driving. But, in southern California there is no other way to get around. Public transport is one bus that takes old people to the Indian Casino. And I live so far form work that a bike would take me till the next day to get there...if I didn't die along the way, lol.
That's why I feel it's important to find a job within a 5 mile radius of where I live. Living in a city of only 200,000 people works out well because the entire urban area of Regina SK Canada is about 45 square miles.
I don't think I could ever live in a city larger than 1/4 million (I've looked into moving to cities of 25,000 people just for that shorter commute).
Lol, yeah it's so fitting isn't it? Right now that's the only mode of automobile transportation, so as soon as I get rid of that, the process is complete. I think I'm going to make a farewell video of the Tempo before selling it (soon).
What happens when you get hit by a car you will probably go to the hospitol they will speed off. My friend died when he was hit by a car he was an electrinics student and about to graduate he was a good man but he chose an unsafe mode of transport see and be seen use blinking lights all the time and headlamps at night on the bike and your helmet wear a reflector vest too. Don't get a headphone radio you need to hear the cars please reconsider this get a moped;but don't just go to the bike.
Very good tips on bicycle safety. A few days back I added a ton of reflectors and a rear blinking light to my bike for added visibility. It's definitely much more risky riding a bike than driving a car.
Yeah, sad I know. In one of my videos ( Vlog #1) I talk about my resolution to live completely car-free this year and you'll see that just normal use of a car is insanely expensive once you consider all the costs. Gloria and the now-totaled Geo Metro were costing me $750 a month combined!!
Yup, it's -11C right now as I'm typing and the snow is still here to stay. Just one more reason to leave Winterpeg when I'm done school this semester :P

To offset the cost of all the lights I use rechargeable batteries.

Isn't it awful? It's going to take a while for it to melt; probably 7 centimetres thick judging from what I see outside my window was I type.
What are you doing up so early? I never actually went to bed. :$
