I remember listening to Sid Collins' live broadcast with my Dad in the 60s and 70s. Just thinking of him now gives me the same goose bumps that I used to get while listening to the race. I have frequently checked the internet over the years to see if he received any mention. I am very happy that he is getting some of the credit that he deserves. He was a man of great class and any of his family members should be very proud of the impact he had on many of us. He is still remembered and missed.
