@ozrock17 Yes; precisely. I used to grab the 3DB Melbourne charts every Monday morning and make up an annual record of my own of all the Top 40. Step Back and flip side were only abut a week or so at No 1, but the song sat on 2 or 3 for months.
In terms of chart success, it was head-shoulders-and belly over every other single track that year - inclusive of Beatles, Who, etc.
