Sisyphus is a character in a greek myth who lies and is deceptive. He shows little remorse and blames others, which results in him being punished by having to roll a boulder up a hill, but always having it roll back down, thus the punishment is eternal. In this song, as far as I can tell, the lyrics are about the struggling and futile pain of a love that must be endured, like the punishment Sisyphus had . :)
