That is interesting. I do have to say, he's a good BJ but I'd much prefer him as Drac. I can't wait until Halloween and all the other shows. I get excited just thinking about it. lol

It does now I think. I must have been getting mixed up. I know in the 90's it was CONSTANTLY being canceled because it was in front of the Ghostbuster's building. No roof then. I'm not sure if it runs now when it rains or not - but back in the old school days :( It didn't :)

No they use to cancel due to rain. In the 90's the show was on the steps outside of ghostbusters. They never canceled due to the show they always canceled due to rain because the front steps didn't have a roof over it so if showtime came up and it was raining, beatlejuice's face woulda washed right off. :).. and then you have that pesky electrocution. Now he's not near the ghost busters building. He's got his own little stage set up thingy with a roof :D

I have no idea hun. I don't live in FL anymore so I haven't gotten to visit in a long time, which means I don't get to keep up with it. I think the building is still there (it was last time I went to Universal Studios) and you can see the lions on the side of the steps - but you can't go in. They'll probably turn it into something else if they haven't already.

The Beetlejuice show runs all year long, every day. The Rocky Horror show only runs in October (and late Sept and Nov 1) on Thurs-Sun and sometimes Wed.

Runs all year. The only problem you'll have is when it's RAINING it will close down. Which if you go to Orlando it rains A LOOOTTTTT. So be patient. I went to Universal for YEARS before I ever got to see a show with him in it. Always rained out.

Heavensburden is correct-- there is a roof, and cancellation is quite rare nowadays. Only if the wind blows the rain so hard sideways that it gets the stage wet, which does SOMETIMES happen with the summer thunderstorms. But there are sure to be SOME shows running successfully every day, despite the occasional short-lived thunderstorm.
