Dialga's attack is more powerful, but Palkia's doesn't have recoil. Plus when I got Pearl, Cynthia KOed all my Pokemon except for Palkia, and he knocked all of hers out, especially that crazy Garchomp,( after scoring a critical hit w/ Dragon Rush on Palkia.)

Not necessarily. His attack is powerful (Roar of Time), but is equivalent to hyper beam in the sense that you have to wait a turn after use. Attacks like that (of which there are 5, rock, water, grass, fire and dragon, 2 being signature moves.) are useful only if the foe has no chance of surviving the attack. Palkia's is stronger than most attacks and has a high critical hit ratio.(oh, and you don't have to wait an entire turn to use it.)

Here's my theory on dialga and palkia of who wins.

I think at first Dialga pwns Palkia. But, when Palkia and dialga are lvl 60+ IF palkia learns Earth power he wins scince he has higher speed and dialga is weak to ground.

So my theory is, Dialga, pwns palkia, and Palkia pwns dialga later.
